Sorry for the long delay In connecting here . Last spring was our first experience with the 2 X52s and at 155 lb rider weight, the rear suspension was ….well ….not there. I ended up buying a fairly expensive air shock from Amazon but was nearly as disappointed. I did contact Ariel and the response was “they don’t offer any options for this. Honestly I think they have a great opportunity to offer these things as aftermarket without guys like you having to test . We are 95 % near or 100 % off-road. Thanks so much for to test and video! @@lamontrenschler2465Ahh. Yeah I need to update the description. The newer Xclasses (with turn signals) have an improved rear shock, as well as being attached closer to the front compared to the previous version. This results in a longer 230mm shock, but also addresses the previous complaint of the rear shock being too hard. The shock that came in yours is already the perfect spring rate imo, but you can get a softer one of you prefer, just make sure it's the same length as the spring on your shock. 🐾🤘🏽

Hey Rusty! what's your take on the quality of the grizzly? I've been reading on complaints about them from the BBB and majority is mostly on quality of the batteries and customer service that if there's quality issues with them such as electronic issues, they are not responsive on resolving them? I'm now hesitant on purchasing them just because of lack of customer service. It's not a good idea spending thousands and if you have a problem, I hear you're out of luck. Hi Michael I got myself a fat tyre folding bike recently which is no match for Ariel Riders but at least it has a 500w motor and wizzes me along at 40 plus kph.I do not like the tyres because they only go up to 20 PSI and this is not enough to prevent bottoming out over small bumps. So I see you are using Kenda tyres which I believe are run at 30psi? Why is it so hard to find good tyres for these bikes? They cost less than the Schwalbe 1.5 tyres I use on my recumbent trike!
