Helpful. Now rhe next question is HOW do you get them to even want to meet with you? I've got all my "stats" together but the agents I would want to rep me aren't taking anyone in right now. I've been thru 2 different agents & I don't want to get burned again.

Honestly, I'd wait until this whole Covid thing is a memory. A lot of agents aren't taking in new, to them, talent, a lot of casting/ talent agencies aren't accepting new applications, even agencies for extras aren't accepting new people. It's industry wide right now. It's getting better but this is the new normal until it finally isn't. Beyond what I just said, do research on agents. Some agents want more diversity, some want actors with a lot of experience. You have to market yourself to the right agents and your work will speak for you.

@@kimw8056 that's not quite true cuz I've been getting job offers for civil commercials through my agent

They shouldn't look for a simple one agent look for agency company that way they have multiple agents to deal with multiple people

@@kimw8056 I have been researching. That's how I've narrowed my choices down. I am working both principal & Featured BG roles currently & auditioning regularly. I've had 2 agents already but they didn't work out. I'm looking for an agent/agency that actually works FOR me. I'm willing to be a working partner but expect the same.
