Working out is a journey of learning yourself just like everything else in life. I've listened to many people and hurt myself over time and went back and learned to listen to my own body. I've watched so many of your your videos and learned to trust you as my online workout trainer. I really apprecaite your knowledge and advice...usually I have to cut the fat and keep the lean to see any gains but your diet apparently speaks for itself. As someone with some experience on this topic and a large back, I can shed advice on what I did to get a big back. It's very simply: 1) L-Sit pullups and 2) Bent Over Rows. Because your back recovers remarkably quick you can hit back extremely frequently (3+ days a week), and I can guarantee if you follow the three factors that lead to hypertrophy (TUT, muscular damage, and metabolic fatigue) you will get a huge back too. Don't even think about switching these for other back exercises, but be sure to add accessories like banded face pulls, single arm rows, hammer smith rows inverted rows, rear delt flyes, lat pulldowns, etc.) You should note that if you don't have experience with these exercises, it'll take about two weeks to learn it effectively, and a week after that to see increases in size of your hamstrings, In general, you want to make sure your lower back is getting trained effectively too, so I recommend glute-ham raises and reverse hypers along with your squats and deadlift variations. Trust me on this-- bodybuilding (especially for your back) in general is a lot more simple than gaining athleticism. You just need to put in the work (track your macros, drink a gallon of water, sleep on time, make sure your progressing).

One of the best videos I've seen on that topic, as usual, very clear, very thorough, very useful, and immediately applicable in the gym, thanks !

When someone asks me how to get a wider back I give them the same answer I give everyone. Pull ups. Pull ups. Pull ups. The basics work best. If they get too easy start doing weighted pull ups and gradually increase volume.
@RxlredE5 жыл бұрын
But I can't do pull ups bro. My gym doesn't have pull up machine.
