This happened to a lot of us it’s cus the beginning of the game is like that I can choose out of the 3 routes and go where u want when u want but I notice from the point after the grand lift of dectus it’s a set path from there on to the rest of the map with bosses blocking your way lol

Commander Niell tips: You can go from Castle Sol main gate turn left and after some walking there should be a lift, it's a way to access him without taking any aggro Azur comet destroys him completly You can cheese him with bewitching branches

You know, I literally did the later half of getting the medallion for the Haligredtree, but I really didn’t wanna fight the Commander guy. Then I realized to get the 3 rings of lights I need to go to a town that’s only accessible by getting the full medallion. So fast forward 3 fits of rage and a whole lot of dying I did it. In short I hate this game

Cheese for the boss is use rot when he get second form rivers of blood on your mimic tear summon mimic tear rot the boss again and flame of frenzy him till he get low get back and the rot wll do the rest
