Some have pointed out that while you do need to defeat 5 Gyms to get the lucky egg, you receive the Lucky Egg when visiting the next Gym building. You don't need to defeat the 6th Gym, only need to enter the Gym Building. Thank you to all who brought that to our attention. 😀

Awesome guide. One thing I would suggest for future guides like this for people such as myself that like to go in early/UnderLeveled is the pokemon each trainer is using so that we can choose the proper lead to make the battles quick and easy.

The first one he sees has a bergmite. The second one, both are weak to fighting. Something and Zangoose. The third one has three Pokémon, altaria (use a fairy type as it's only attacking move is dragon), an evolved skiddo, and Drednaw (4x grass) I haven't fought the other two yet.

get nacli, it learns salt cure at lvl 25 its pretty op and cheeses the game (you must need lots of heals and a good def nacli)

LUCKY EGG DOESNT WORK. I have five gym badges and went to the sixth gym where the guy was but he never said anything about a lucky egg and never gave me a lucky egg. After that I went and visited him at the school and still no lucky egg.

As far as we know, wild Pokémon can not steal players items permanently. All sources confirmed this. That's very strange, could be a bug.

That's strange.. Try to go the the next Gym Building (you don't need to complete it) and see if that prompts the cut scene for your Lucky Egg. Sorry that's the only thing I can think of, because I'm not sure why.

@@turtleman56x No it does not have to be at a specific gym. I looked into it further and you need to only defeat 5 gyms. When you visit the 6th Gym build, at any gym location, it should trigger the cut scene.

Yes it does, if you haven't already tried it out. All of the guides you see will be universal between games unless it's about version exclusive Pokemon. Other than that and some different NPCs filling the same roll, the games are identical.
