tips: keep up with the news (use the tutor2u weekly roundups and news sites such as the guardian) ans make sure u are really immersed in it use seneca to complete the topic you do in class beforehand so that youre ahead in class (consolidates learning and prolly impresses teacher, doesnt take long either so imma use rhis for history too) keep the spec in front of you in class in lower sixth, do a practice essay questiom every two weeks, hand into teacher for feedback and also ask ur teachers for a list of potential essay question. plan out these essays in depth so that when exam time comes around you have a big bank to help you (you can also ask CHATGPT to generate you essay prompts i hsed this at gcse) instead of writing notes in class, keep key facts and stats and things like that on flashcards (im gonna try this ine next lesson) hope this helps ans thanks henry for yr a star tips mate

How did you stay motivated and manage to have good time management throughout your A-Levels? I'm only a month in at the moment
@HenryBrandRevision3 ай бұрын
good question. i'm going to try do a video on motivation soon
hey I'm just wondering if in fact you are going ahead with applying to oxbridge you make some videos on your personal statement interview prep ect as that would be super helpful! No worries if you aren't applying anymore or don't want to share your application process :)

hiya, I plan to do a video at some point detailing my university decisions so stay tuned for that! I try to be as transparent as possible, so I don't mind saying. I appealed my B in history and sadly that got turned down. I did apply to Cambridge, but I think with a B it was just too hard to get accepted so they rejected me (i'll do a video on that also to help people learn from my mistakes). Luckily, the University of Warwick gave me an offer even with a B so chances are I'll go there. I definitely have a lot of advice for personal statements and uni in general, for that I will also get the views of Oxbridge students :) When are you applying?

@@sandra78900 good question, i found it fine tbh. i just did seneca for the stuff i missed - over time you pick it up fast

This was helpful! Just one question about seneca, do you simply do the sections and repeat or do you do anything else with them like add facts you learn to flashcards for example? Also, did you use seneca premium?
@HenryBrandRevision3 ай бұрын
I'm glad it was helpful! I would sometimes flashcard information from seneca, but often just repeating the sections helped me learn the content. I did use seneca premium, although I'm not sure how much it helped me tbh
