hey henry, ive started taking my revision more seriously now, as i have moved from combined to triple sciences i am heavily focused on getting topics i haven't learnt before so i am currently writing notes on every topic trying to re-comprehend and learn new topics for science using the aqa gcse specification with aid from the cgp text books, after this month of pure content based revision i plan to create flashcards using the spec i have copied off of to quiz myself and also use seneca to re cover all the topics yet again. and like you recommended, i plan on focusing on doing as many different past papers as possible. is there any flaws or improvements i can make to this plan?

hey, thanks so much for all the advice you share on your channel. you’ve just gained a new subscriber because you’ve honestly given me the motivation to start revising. i’m in year 11, sitting my gcses from april (practicals) to june, but i pretty much spent all of year 10 slacking off and not revising. now everything’s piling up, and it’s really starting to get to me, especially with my final mocks coming up next week for nine subjects. the pressure and expectations from everyone are seriously affecting my mental health at this point. it feels like everyone else has had their life together since year 10, and i’m just here trying to speedrun the entire gcse syllabus in a few months. i'm struggling the most with subjects like geography (edexcel) because of the sheer amount of content-there’s just way too much to memorize, and no matter how much i revise, i feel like i forget half of it the next day. english lit is a nightmare too, because it’s not just about remembering quotes, but actually analyzing them properly, and my essays just never feel good enough. and because english isn't my first language, it doesn't help at all. some days i just stare at my notes like ? where do i even start? i wanted to ask-how did you balance active recall and past papers in your revision schedule? did you find one more effective than the other for certain subjects? also, do you have any general advice for someone in my position? do you think it’s still possible to turn things around and do well, or is it too late? also, how did you deal with burnout? right now, even when i try to revise, i just get stressed about how much there is left to do, and it makes me want to procrastinate even more. any advice on how to actually stay consistent and not just revise for one day and then burn out for a week? thanks again-i really appreciate everything you’re doing. honestly, if i get through this, it’ll be because of people like you giving me hope. thank you- you're genuinely awesome.
