While watching and reading the comment I thought of something, there’s plenty of people who likely have beat the game but not finished the dex, they’re probably lacking the shiny charm, and because of that the program is thrown off either because it calculates the shiny charm in, or it calculates without it throwing it off for those that may or may not have it. I have been debating using this method myself but since I don’t have a shiny charm I’ll probably wait till I finish the Dex.

I have a question. I did everything as said. Seed didn't generate. I did this yesterday night (11pm when I found out it didn't work) . Took a break because I was tired. Thinking about doing steps 2 and 3 over which would be the 2nd fourth frame (3 or 4 *) and the 5th frame over to see if it would work. But question is... will it work since its 230am (technically next day) and not 11PM on the previous day that I started?

Everything works pretty good for me. Although the skipping days is an other story. I keep getting accidental mistakes like. Pushing the time sync. Or when the last day of a month passes by during skipping, pushing okay without setting the month forward as well. Also the game crashes when to much days have skippen. Even if i used ranked battles and ran in order to activate the time skip thingy. I don't trust it. But works. Note* Trying getting Gmax Charizard for almost 2 weeks. But yeah. Making mistakes during skipping does reset everything..... I'll keep trying thou

was wondering if there's a written guide for this. Honestly the seed checker stuff and serebii stuff is a bit confusing especially if it doesn't show anything for IVs and only hidden ability. It's a good guide just a bit confusing. I was getting lost when inputting all the stats and such. I personally only want to hunt a a 6 IV ditto. the site on that list has all these stars and such and 50% on such being shown. Seemingly to items on the ditto. There's no perfect IV one so i guessing it isn't guaranteed but there's hidden ability which for a ditto I'd prefer to have imposter. What's my best option through the list given just anything with 5 star? As for inputting. I'm inputting the one that shows up and is captured that isn't saved or auto saved right to find and calculate to getting the ditto with the desired stats.

Only for the date skip glitch that I do in this vid for everything else you don’t need it and you can use the regular den date glitch to skip if you’re not able to do online battling, there is also a way to activate the quicker date glitch by resetting your connection through a link trade when it’s states “trainer found” I hope this helps

GGameinatorr I feel you. Same thing with me but I didn’t give up. Get a 2iv on 4th frame then put it stats - No Good, Reset then skip 1 frame. I've been trying to get this to work for several days now, I've tried several dens but every time I keep getting Pokemon with too many perfect IV on the fourth frame. Are you allowed to (After skipping to the fourth frame, seeing 4/5 stars and then quit) jump one day, save and then do the fourth frame thing from there or will that count as a second frame from where you start? So will you basically start at the second frame if you look at it from when the purple beam was created and by doing the whole thing after skipping one and saving, end up on the fifth or fourth? Hey mark Man I feel your pain, it’s so frustrating just getting the right mons sometimes. So if you ever save again that’s pretty much like starting the process again so you would need to find another 2 IV in the fourth slot then a 3 or 4 IV and a 4 or 5 IV in the 5th slot. But you can save yeah just make sure you keep a track of how many times you save as like you say it will be advancing the frame forward one every time you do it, if you ever get your two IV Pokemon come back as a ng you have to do this step to get a good one to proceed. I hope this helps anything else I can help with though just let me know :)

I subbed here thank you! I have a question I couldn't find the answer to in the comments: My 3star Heatmor (shield) I got on the 4th frame. I leveled it to 100 as instructed and used Cerebii to check its IVs. The speed stat is not saying "OK!" under it, Cerebii and also the program (v1.5 btw) cannot figure out if my Poke'mons speed stat is 25, or 26. This is not covered in the video. I have no idea how to proceed. Is this the same as the secret 3rd best? Do I just try to re-roll my dens 4th frame pokemon for a new 3 star Heatmore and try again?

Hey Jamison and welcome to the channel, sorry this response is a bit late but in this situation I would run the seed search with first the 25 IV stat and if that doesn’t result in finding your seed try again with the 26 IV stat this way it will determine which one is correct, no idea why this happens when your working out IVs is super frustrating but this is how I have got around it, if both I’ve fail then it might be a Pokemon that has the secret iv. I hope it’s not as I can relate to how annoying this process can be at times. Would you be interested in a video to get your seed through Dudu bot which most of the time can be a lot easier :)

After finding what day my pokemon will be and 4 days before that date, do i have to change the date on my switch 1 day at a time (over 2000 times) or can i just change it to the date i will end up on?

Mage Light unfortunately it’s one day at a time, if you use the date glitch and have your switch I hand held mode using the touch screen this is a way quicker way of getting through the dates. I did around 2000 in about 40 minutes using this method yesterday. Hope this helps

TheBlapman My understanding is that the seed is specific to your game and that particular den you are at so you could use it for perfect IVs instead of shinys once you have the list of everything in your den from the seed just hunt out that 6 IV mon and move your frames on the same way you would for a shiny :) Hope that helps and good luck with the hunt

I saw the video again and u said to move one frame over if the first 4th frame keeps giving NG's on the 2iv mons and so I did and it worked!! My question is, after moving the frame one over, got the okay for the first slot of the pokemon in the 1 star program, and then filled out the second slot, but on the 3rd slot for the program where i need to catch the 5th frame pokemon, i caught a 5 star centaskorch with HA, so the question is, from already moving one frame forward, do i also move another frame forward again so that I catch a 5 star without the HA?

Hey Jonathan ideally yes as sometimes the hidden abilities do throw the programme off but before you do try and generate your seed with that HA mon as it may work, I hope this helps!! Unfortunately any 5iv mon from that frame will have it’s HA so you need to move the frames to get an alternative, let me know if you need anymore help :)

So I would leave the variance as three, one thing you could check with the ha Pokemon is ticking the box in that Pokemon’s section on the right just above where you enter it’s hp stat (that box translates as hidden ability?) that’s how I have had HA mons working, it’s worth a go before trying for another one :)

Hi FSabba I understand that dates works like this: 10/29/2025 - FRAME 1 10/30/2025 - FRAME 2 10/31/2025 - FRAME 3 11/01/2025 - FRAME 4 So that is the 4th Dany FRAME. Additionaly, I’ve seen that this method works only if you want to get a shiny in the 4th FRAME , so if you save the game 5 days before, it might not work. As for the last question I guess you can stop in the middle of the skipping process, but my guess is that you have to finish in the sale day you started, since it might not work if the switch clock pass to the next day, so, my guess AGAIN is that you can chame the clock to an early time.

I only find the IV calculator works around level 95 to 100 accurately, you may just have to keep grinding a few red raid dens to get candies. cause once u can get 1 pokemon to lvl 100, you're covered for the whole set up

Hey, so if you get the ng error one way to fix this is to move from your very 1st frame to your 2nd frame and then start the four Pokemon cycle again. So when you are at your initial frame or save point go into that first Pokemon do the date glitch and then next Pokemon will appear, save in front of this new frame/Pokemon and then start the process again. Now basically you will now be looking for a fourth pokemon in the 5th frame so you should be able to have better results searching for the 2 IV Pokemon, I hope this makes sense if not let me know and I’ll try to give a bit more help. I am working on a new video covering this process with a few new techniques and clarifying a few areas including this one which people are having difficulties with, it should be up by the end of this week.

Hey makato sorry to here that, what I find sometimes is if this happens it’s normally an issue with the 2nd and 3rd (4th and 5th IV) Pokemon, as you have a good initial 2 IV Pokemon this should be fine so what I have been doing is catching new Pokemon in the 2nd and 3rd process which has for the most part seemed to resolve the issue, let me know if you have any success with that

Be very careful when switching the days 1 forward because I messed up and forgot to ‘search for opponents’ and i day skipped and I noticed my den wasn’t lit up and I just went back and switched another day forward without thinking and it messed everything up for me 😐😐😐😐😐

So I would save maybe on the 7th November then progress 6 frames and check the 13th to know it’s the shiny frame and then save on the 9th and farm for whatever Pokemon you want :) hope this helps

If you accidentally go from let's say the 31st of the month to 1st but forget to change the month and you just saved... does that mess up your seed or starts it over?

@@CapitalP177 It's still registered as moving forward 1 day, technically you don't need to change the month at all, it just makes it easier to keep track of how many skips you've made when you have a target date to aim for. All you need do is change the month and carry on skipping, just remember to subtract a day from your target each time you do it. If you want to play it safe, you can save your game a few days before you're supposed to, just to quickly check if the shiny den is where it's supposed to be and then reload.

CapitalP177 no you don’t have to start over. It just doesn’t count as a day skip. Only moving the date forward will skip what frame you’re on. I like to save every year just in case I feel I messed up.

Sorry no den seed was found increasing the allowed iv deviation may help is the message im getting after entering my 2iv 4 star and 5 star info into 1 star seed finder. I rewatched the video redid all my dens to find proper pokemon again and got the same result. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how did you fix it"?

Got it so that it says my shiny is in 2237 resets followed instructions changed date within 10 resets saved checked dens and no shiny, this does not work

This 100% works. I watched Blaine’s video and got shiny gmax grimmsnarl first try. I must have been extremely lucky using the program because now I’m trying to get my 2nd gmax and I keep getting that same error you got. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

fadgfwergwegewga when you are changing your date you have to skip one frame at a time like one date change = one frame skip, sorry from your comment it sounds like you did ten skips not the 2000+ you needed or am I miss-interpreting?? If you are still at this den you are still able to work our where your shiny frame is if you have your seed, download raid finder and put in the details of your seed against the relevant den, catch the next Pokemon in your den and try and match up with the list on raid finder which should help you pin point what frame you are on to progress to the shiny one. Let me know if I can help out anymore

Elvis Dumble also had this issue myself a few times after initially doing this for two other gmax mons I think there is maybe some issues with certain 4 den cycles that throw this out sometimes, I am doing as much testing and research as I can on this to try and find a solution, will do an update here and probably a video on a fix as soon as I have something concrete

On average, it takes me 1 min and 3 secs to day skip a full month. a year on average is takes me around 12 mins. Therefore, in an hour, at top speed, no breaks and perfect hand eye coordination a person could skip roughly 5 years. if your shiny slot is at around 7,000 ++, thats roughly a 10 year, 2 hour non stop skip. Assuming you make no mistakes in day skipping and keep perfect track of your skips. Im curious how you guys manage to do this? any advice? My first time was 10,140 skips which equalled roughly 27 years. :/

What method are you using in order to time skip? Using the VS glitch I'm able to skip roughly 3600 frames an hour, going by your post, you're only doing about half that.

@@iOlrickx. i AM using the vs glitch. but have you timed how you physically do it? tick up on a day, and press ok on the clock screen, tick the date entry to get into the date screen, then tick one day up again. I have large fingers so im prone to pressing the wrong the wrong things, like maybe sometimes two day ticks, or i even accidentally tick the region option since its directly above the date. and im holding up my arms above an undocked switch the whole time. So you're telling me, that you perfectly, never miss a single tick, and your arms never get tired non stop for a full hour to get thru 3600? no pauses for breathing? no toilet breaks? Have you looked at a timer while doing the day skips? because i have, and for me (with my physical limitations) is roughly 1 min 3 sec per month, or 12 mins 30 seconds a year on average. roughly a 5 years (1700ish) per hour. How do breeze thru 10 years an hour? dont just say you can, pls share your method, itll be helpful.

​@@DoraKage I just timed myself to check and I completed a full month (31 skips) in 27.86 seconds, factoring in the time to start and stop the timer, I'll say roughly 27 seconds flat. I'm doing the same, undocked Switch (I use a Lite) and I use both my hands, left to change day/month & right to hit OK and reopen the setting. I don't make every skip perfect but I get into a rhythm pretty quickly. Both my arms from the elbow to the wrist are resting on my desk, I only use one finger from each hand to do all the work so I've never felt the need to rest them. I really don't know how to describe my method, I'm just tapping on my Switch like you would a keyboard. Personally though I no longer waste my time with anything above 1k skips unless it's pretty much a _perfect_ Pokémon in terms of IVs and Nature.. It's much quicker to just do the raid and get another beam

No, each time you catch an eligible Pokémon, you reset your game back to the first Pokémon and repeat the process until you have all 3 filled in.

Date does not matter. You only save when you 1st get your purple den. When you catch the 2iv or other 2 steps you're soft resetting so when you go back to the game, your people den is still there

It might cause some issues finding your seed but i have had success with HAs in that slot just make sure you are ticking the box on the right of that Pokemon’s section on the seed checker software, if this doesn’t work then yes you would need to start the process again, I’ll keep my fingers crossed that this works for you

Skip one day from your start date, Save the game (First frame will now be the Second Pokémon) and repeat the 3 day skip process. I got OK after that.

You will never encounter a HA at least for the first step as they are generally only available for the 4 and 5 star raids but if on the serebii raid den pages it states weather HA in that den under a particular beam is possible, one of the thing I have been making sure to click is icon next to the ability tab if this is the case which has seemed to work (just a heads up if you didn’t know the third option in the drop down of the ability tab is Unknown and the fourth is HA) I don’t know if it’s just luck or not but seems strange that three times now on separate occasions I have had a 5 star HA Pokemon and the seed has generated fine, there’s probably a lot more to look at here but if you want to chat any more about it let me know, I hope this helps a little at least

MegaDPAL it can take a while depending your on pc/laptop build the programme itself is pretty cpu intensive I normally have to wait a while for mine to generate, let me know if you have any more problems and I’ll try and help you through this process

Hey, I had the same issue when I first downloaded the original programme and what I figured was it was how I was unzipping the folder, when I extracted the whole thing to my desktop that seemed to resolve the issue I don’t know if this helps but I hope it does! Hey Rachad, so the first three Pokemon should be frame 1,2 and 3 from your starting point/save point at that den then the fourth Pokemon from this start point is your fourth frame and so on, the first three Pokemon when you reset your game and do this process again should always be the same with only the fourth one changing. For this method you are only using the first five frames (the 5th being the last Pokemon you catch in this process) you don’t need to go past this frame until you have your seed and identified the frame your shiny Pokemon is located on. Each frame = each new Pokemon after a date skip. I hope this makes sense if you need anymore help just let me know :)

I guess the last thing I can't figure out is this: is the big list that it prints out with the IVs and the natures only for 5 star raids (seeing how "best IVs:" is preselected for 4) or does it represent both 4 and 5 stars, implying that they both result in the same outcome for IVs, nature, and shininess?
