After doing the battle combo I can answer that question: - You can save and sleep your game but don't turn off the game (it will break the chain) - Don't fight any other pokemon other than the one you're hunting - running away from an accidental encounter will still keep the chain and will not break it

( at 500 being 6 rolls ) Which would be about 1/500 like he said BUT without the chain there is no extra rolls. And it doesn't cap at 2 like stated. So at a 25 chain with 500 defeated you have a 33% chance for a 1/560 chance NOT a flat 1/560 You would only be getting it 1/3 of the time so in reality your odds are more like 1/1600 at a 500 + 25 chain. Thanks for spreading miss information for easy clicks though.. you can't even copy other people's research properly 🙄 also you should give credit to the person in which found the info.

It's always been hard to get shines but with dexit my go-to shiny breeding friend has decided to not bother shiny breeding this gen. I’ve bred two shinies through the Masuda method so far, a galarian ponyta and a dreepy. The shiny ponyta was my third egg hatched, while my dreepy was probably close to the 300th, but they were both quite easy to get, specially considering I don’t have the shiny charm yet!

I hatched 729 eggs for shiny Sobble and Shinx, Masuda method, without shiny charm. I walked into a random Dynamax den and found a full odds shiny Drednaw right after I gave up. Fun times :,)

I used masuda method (without shiny charm) and after around 270 bred rowlets i finally got a shiny one. Happiest pokemon experience ever as it was my first shiny i actually worked for. The first legit shiny i got was a pikachu but i barely had to do any work, after like 5 or 6 pikachu max raid battles i got a shiny. I put more than 15 hours into the rowlet though.

Airaia the shiny part doesn’t matter. The Japanese part does as long as you aren’t breeding it with another Japanese Pokémon. As long as the ditto is being bred with a Pokémon of a different language then you are using the Masuda method.

The other Pokemon can be from a different region too but it's easier to have a Ditto that you can just use for everything.

I've made a Japanese Ditto in Pokemon Sword and I traded it to my friend's English version of Sword. Does the Masuda method still work or does it only work if he has Shield?

it still works it doesn't matter if it goes to the same game or to the other one. As long as your japanese ditto was from a game that was in the japanese language (it should say JPN in the top right of the summary of the ditto) and was originally from japan (or any other region different from yours... if someone had their game in japanese in germany for whatever reason) then the masuda method should still work.

The only shiny I've encountered in game with full odds was a shiny pidgey in Pokemon silver. I was so used to just backing out of weak Pokemon battles at that point that I ran without even thinking. I searched forever in that spot trying to get it to spawn again but it never did... (obviously I'm not counting Pokemon go shinies. Lol)

My first random shiny encounter was on Soulsilver when I was 10yo. I found a shiny pidgey but it was before we were given any pokeballs, during the "Bring this egg to that professor" quest. I was so sad that I just fled the battle lol

Yo, you don't need the oval charm. You don't need heat body. Just use the first breeding center with the long bridge; Put in a pokemon, preferably with the stone that passes its nature to the offspring. Put in the other pokemon. Bike across bridge all the way to the trainer and rocks, return to start. Grab egg. Repeat circuit. Before you can grab your sixth egg, the first will hatch. Every time you complete the circuit, you hatch AND get an egg. So basically grabbing anything that increases egg production and or hatching time is pointless because with the base timing, it's nearly perfect (like 10 step differential)

Yes, pokemon HOME will be released sometime, its like pokemon bank. However, not every pokemon is allowed into shield/sword since the national dex is taken out.

Beter Griffin They don’t appear shiny in the over world. You have to battle them to figure it out but if you don’t notice the color difference, it throws out stars or squares when it enters the battlefield.

For shiny hatching I know if you get a foreign ditto and breed it with your pokemon you get better odds, but if you do a CHT Ditto and a GER dreepy on and English game would the odds increase even more?

When hatching eggs to hunt for shines, do you just have to have the shiny charm in your bag or do you have to give it to one of the Pokémon you are breeding as a held item?
