After doing the battle combo I can answer that question: - You can save and sleep your game but don't turn off the game (it will break the chain) - Don't fight any other pokemon other than the one you're hunting - running away from an accidental encounter will still keep the chain and will not break it

Too bad his info is wrong. The number of pokemon caught/defeated increases the number of extra rolls.. ( at 500 being 6 rolls ) Which would be about 1/500 like he said BUT without the chain there is no extra rolls. And it doesn't cap at 2 like stated. So at a 25 chain with 500 defeated you have a 33% chance for a 1/560 chance NOT a flat 1/560 You would only be getting it 1/3 of the time so in reality your odds are more like 1/1600 at a 500 + 25 chain. Thanks for spreading miss information for easy clicks though.. you can't even copy other people's research properly 🙄 also you should give credit to the person in which found the info.

I used masuda method (without shiny charm) and after around 270 bred rowlets i finally got a shiny one. Happiest pokemon experience ever as it was my first shiny i actually worked for. The first legit shiny i got was a pikachu but i barely had to do any work, after like 5 or 6 pikachu max raid battles i got a shiny. I put more than 15 hours into the rowlet though.

I have a lot of shinies, and my first shiny was an ACCIDENT. I was breeding for a Snivy in sun and moon, and it was my 1ST ever egg I would hatch, and my 1ST egg that was Snivy, WAS SHINY. Also, I have 3 Shiny Magikarps that we’re in RAIDS.

I started with Gen 3. Then went back and played Gens 1 and 2. I've played literally every Pokemon game except for Emerald. All the way through. I've never even SEEN a Shiny. I WILL in Sword in Shield, get my first Shiny.

The fact that they lowered the amount of pokemon in the pokedex makes getting the shiny charm so much easier. I remember putting over 100 hours into ORAS to get to 600 out of 845 or whatever. The fact that there was 100s of pokemon that you couldnt catch made it even harder

Yo, you don't need the oval charm. You don't need heat body. Just use the first breeding center with the long bridge; Put in a pokemon, preferably with the stone that passes its nature to the offspring. Put in the other pokemon. Bike across bridge all the way to the trainer and rocks, return to start. Grab egg. Repeat circuit. Before you can grab your sixth egg, the first will hatch. Every time you complete the circuit, you hatch AND get an egg. So basically grabbing anything that increases egg production and or hatching time is pointless because with the base timing, it's nearly perfect (like 10 step differential)
