How to Get Astra Fast and Easy | Starfield June Update

Hey guys. Just a quick video on Starfield's newest June update that includes a new currency called Astra. I had some issues trying to figure this out myself so I figured you all might need some info on it too. I'll also post a link to the achievement enabler down below from nexus mods and the item ID and command for astra. Thanks for watching.

if you want to farm astra check chthonia caves out they always respawn undiscovered it's the moon around the den there are always astras respawning in the crates you can save/ load before entering a cave too 👍✨️

You can also quicksave before you buy the item, and if you don't like what you get, you can reload Personally I would have prefered there was less ramdomness in the looting system

I agree. I was hoping it would be set items exclusive to the questline itself, but that's not the case. Missed opportunity IMO.

Go to serpentis and fight ships in captains locker you'll find them also sometimes on the caps body bout 1/3 chance plus you can keep the ships

To be honest with you I’ve been making videos for 2 months now and with no intent of this video to blow up the way that it did. I just wanted to make something quick to give players the option to easily get this new currency that I thought of. If anything, this has been quite overwhelming. I have a lot to learn still with the whole content creating stuff and not sure if I’ll be a channel that devotes time to “guide videos”. But I do thank you for the comment! Be safe.

Folks, you get Astra from ships boarding ( Captain locker), almost each boss killed ( rangers missions, trackers missions, etc) hell even you get them by randomly cleaning outposts from pirates, spacers, etc ! Are PLENTY of them - just play the game ! I rest in over 30 Astra collected just by sailing in Serpentis system and waiting for zealots ships to charge me screaming "Herrretic !!! " :p In Serpentis, just jumping from planet to planet, you will be attacked by 2-3 ships always, just wait 10-20 seconds - and use the new game mechanics who allow you to board EACH and EVERY ship from that attacking force ! The trick is to AVOID adding that ship to your inventory - board, kill/loot the crew, loot the chest, jump back in your ship, and attack/board the next ship - repeat all above ! Chances are, 1 of 2 boarded ships have Astra currency on the cap. chest. So, each "wave" of attacking ships will give you at least an Astra ! (I play in "extreme" mode. )

EASY UNLIMITED ASTRA During the Crimson Fleet Mission "The Best There Is", you meet Huan on the ship "Jade Swan". Astra can be in the Captain's Locker. As many as TWELVE from what I've seen. That doesn't even matter though, because after you take it, go to the lodge, wait 24 hours, go back to the locker, and there will be more. It's quick, easy, and unlimited. Stock up before it's patched.

I just started a new playthrough and have yet to do the Tracker's Alliance Quest again and I am able to find Astra everywhere. I've found them during quests, Spacer Dens and derelict ships- I didn't even talk to Inevitable for most of my current playthrough, making it humorous when she started popping up in random locations in major cities trying to flag me down.

Wow. Stinky. You're at level 100 and he's dropping calibrated and refined suits and packs. Not one advanced or superior out of all those tries. Also I didn't see any of the top tier weapons drop. Like the Hard Target, Magshot, Magpulse. Inflictor. Starshard. Beowulf. etc. At least the Maelstrom you got was advanced.

Thank you! I was looking for this console command. I love Bethesda story telling /quests and combat, but I hate all the time sinks they build into them to artificially extend the play time.

Well one it is a Bethesda game and console commands have always been the ultimate cheat code. Two when playing a single player game when you cheat you only cheat yourself.

It may be coincidence but I keep finding them on the wanted dead bounty missions in the tracker’s alliance either on the target themselves or in the dungeon end chests I just save and reload before landing on a planet and i also always have my difficulty set to extreme +75 exp. So far this is the fastest method I found aside from checking captain lockers in ships I steal.

I had 2 astra before even starting the quest. As soon as they put in the update they were available. And I don’t cheese the game…that to me is nonsense why would you want to short yourself of real gameplay

How long are achievements disabled for?

For the entire length of your save file. It will change you save file to “[MODDED]”, which is why I posted the link for achievement enabler in the description. Otherwise, I recommend getting them organically from just playing the game.

You should be able to earn FREE in-game credits to use for all mods and Expansion packs. And They could sell it for real money at a reasonable price, If you're the type of person that just wants to buy everything now Without the grind And you have the money! What do you think?

I get your POV. There’s a lot of people out there like that. The mods typically are free aside from the larger creators that Bethesda teamed up with. I only support it because the creators themselves get paid for their creativity and the mods they build. Micro-transactions could always be cheaper and I’m not sure I’ll be dipping into my wallet to get more of the creation credits or whatever they’re called to get more “expansion sized mods” but we’ll see. However, I could see a lot of heat and debate about being able to just buy everything upfront. Bethesda gets a lot of heat for this game because it’s the cool thing to do now so that would really just add to it.

If you've taken any time to see that most people are saying that the 700 credits, which is equivalent to 7 American dollars And then you only get less than an hour of actual content in a game is ridiculous. By Supporting this You are giving the developers Permission to charge the players for every mission or quest that they add and that's wrong! Wake up! You're part of the problem. ☣️

From what I’m seeing the initial quest is free and then the rest of the questline is 700 creation credits. If you got the premium edition, they “surprise” with 1000 credits free, otherwise, you’ll have to pay the lowest amount which is $10 to get 1000 credits.

@@nikolaip on this one no I haven’t. I started a new game + and did only a few side quests but nothing related to freestar rangers. I almost want to say that it doesn’t change the loot table. It seems that it’s based off rarity and that’s it, at least from all the research I’ve done. Edit: please let me know if you find anything different with someone that has completed the freestar questline.

This is why I hate the game now. I have 1230 hrs into it on Xbox S, no mods and all of it after NG+10 was just combat farming. The mods make my effort look stupid. You can create a new character, use a few mods and boom, it's automatically lvl 999, has all the skills maxed out, has unlimited credits and items all in maybe an hours time. And now you can get unlimited legendary gear....with no effort. It's all just Bethesda telling everyone their games are made for the worst type of gamers. But whatever, no one cares and everyone wants instant gratification anymore so cheats and mods are the future of gaming.

It’s true for the games that support mods/cheats. It can def destroy the experience in the game. Many games have similar things IMO like D4 allowing you to be carried by a maxed out character to power level you or cheeses in Destiny 2 on certain fights. I for one only would entertain stuff like that after I’ve fully beaten the game and 100% it. But yes, lots of people prefer the easy way out. I guess if someone’s having fun with specific play styles then that’s all that matters with gaming.

@@AdonaiNate I could care less how everyone else plays it, I just find the whole game now, no, the whole company to be a huge joke. ALL their titles are freebie sandbox building games. But they do them smart. They let the modders fix the game meanwhile they cashed in huge on day one release sales and without having to pay staff to patch and maintain the games, they get to sit back and just count their money. But after Skyrim and Fallout modders are like "we want to get paid now" so Bethesda will make THIS game pay for content which frees them from spending any of the $MILLIONS they made off sales and the players will have to pay the modders. Bethesda is really a sh*t company at the heart of it.
