You always look so gorgeous! Another tip for smoothing out after back combing is using a natural hair bristle brush and gently brush lightly over the top. I myself don't care for the super done up and pieced hair style. Using a natural bristle brush makes it more natural and smooth looking without loosing all that volume you worked so hard on. Love your videos!

It looks beautiful. It frames her face really nicely. I am going to have to try back combing. I've seen it, but I never wanted to try it because I have seen too many girls with broken strands and their hair doesn't look healthy.

when I went to cosmetology school in high school(1975-76), we called it ratting, and I call it teasing...either way, I love BIG hair, and I have to get layers for sure, great tips with the flat iron!! I still try the jumbo curling iron too I bet you mom will gladly come to Cali to get her hair done by you-you need to open up a salon so i can come see you, I live near by :)

I was wondering if you could talk about different hair cutting techniques and explain your hair cut, as every time I go into the salon and ask for long layers or layers in general ( i have even shown pictures) either the hair dresser doesn't realize what they are doing or I am not explaining it right, I could really use some help as I have been cutting my own hair for the past year to avoid them, but it needs some tlc.

@theadventuresofmary lol here we do still call flat irons hair straightners and rattig is called teasing here just since there are different words the different people use! lol so here we use those words as well and im not exactly sure what flatiron spray she was talking about but i think it is either heat protectant or the make your hair straighter i hope it helps!!!

I tried out your amazing waterfall braid on my little sister for my cousins wedding on the weekend, it looked so good and i got sooo many compliments! Is there any chance you could do a tutorial on how to curl long hair? my hair is past my bottom and i find curling it very difficult because it's too long for the curling wand and any curls i do get are pulled out within 5 minutes no matter how much hair spray ect i put on them. Help!

@Bonnie90505 same with me. I call it "teasing" and there's a certain comb called a "rat comb" (it has that big tail/handle, then smallish teeth semi-close). I'm from the East Coast of the USA.

Hey Kayli :) I have really long hair that I don't get cut too often, so I have a lot of split ends and such. I was wondering what some good ways to prevent or maybe even fix them? I don't use heating tools too often, maybe a flat iron once a week which I use heat protectant with. Thanks!
@elesha7613 жыл бұрын
Hey love your vlogs. Im a hairdresser too and I would suggest that your grow your mums layers out a little on the top they are just a bit to disconnect from the rest of the hair cut. You looked beyond stunning in this vlog.

@curlyclaire14 It's just the heat protector spay you use to protect your hair from your straightener/flat iron (flat iron is the same thing as a straightener).

Hi :) I have long hair , and wear it in a side parting. However, on the side with least hair, I find has zero volume and lays flat against my head. Will any sort of texturising product work to give it volume, or will the length of my hair weigh it down ?
