How To Get Bronze Quick in Pandara Timerunning! (Without the Grind!)

Today, let's look at efficient ways to grab bronze in the new pandaria timerunning mode, but without the mind numbing farm. Since Blizz has shown that they'll be nerfing farms, while increasing bronze gain, let's try not to focus on anything that could be considered an exploit, and instead turn to how to efficiently get bronze through the systems they've put in place.

I would add that when you do the scenario daily that you pick up the quest from Grandmaster Jakkus in Halfhill to serve noodles. It awards the cache of infinite treasure and completing that scenario quest counts toward the daily quest to do a scenario. You still would get to do and collect reward from doing a daily random scenario but might as well do the Grand Master quest as well since it only takes 5 minutes as a timed scenario.

I think they will increase the bronze rewards over time as the event lasts, I hope anyway. I'm not grinding anything, and I'm certainly not expecting to get everything, who would want all that lol

Doing anything that gives you caches now is not worth it cause there is a good chance that Blizz will buff it more (and i hope they dont simply buff the raid rewards, i am leading already a raid group on retail on 2 days a week and i dont want to raid every day a week, this was suposed to be a chill mode were you simply make quests and archivments and get thrown tonns of bronze to you for doing so)

Thanks for the comment @Rw-uy5pf. Yeah mounts and transmogs for the Hunter are my tops. I started an Alt but with how the Cloak actually works, not sure I will do much Alt leveling in Remix. Will have to see is Blizzard makes any changes to the Cloak.

Greater Bronze Caches with the group content quests today. So one LFR, Scenario, and Dungeon will now net you 3,750 Bronze from the quests.

I hit 70 via story only and worked on reps for a few days after hitting 70. I have about 67k. Now I'm doing H Scenarios and H Dungeons to try to get more.

Hey @kimdeuel Thanks for the comment! That's a good way to go. I pretty much did the same. All questing and did dungeons in between on the way to 70 and just been running dailies and scenarios, dungeons since then. I am up around 140K now.

Hey @Wake-up1776. Thanks for the comment! At the Infinite Bazaar in each of the Pandaria zones you will find vendors that sell mounts, toys, transmogs, and so on. Bronze is used to by all of these items. So for example, you can get the Onyx Cloud Serpent from the mount vendor. There are a ton of things you can pick up at the vendors.

To be honest with you i think they will fix this and raise the rewards because its still not rewarding enough to do outdoor content and it seems the scaling is still Wild. So i am going to drink my Manatea and chiill while waiting for them to do more fixes.

Agreed @Berthier90. That's always the thing with these events. Do we play now or wait for the buffs? For Plunderstorm, it was not a game mode I was into, but when they buffed it all up at the end, i just grinded out 36 Renown levels in about 10 hours and bam! it was done. Remix I actually enjoy so I am hitting it early but I am definitively looking for some buffs to come around.

My problem is Blizz touted being OP for this, just crazy OP and a temp mod to get rewards. Bronze farming is crap atm, stack this with Season 4 retail released recently and now Cata classic. Blizz is spreading their players and their selves to thin. Do I spend all my time grinding bronze and ignore retail or classic? Or do I play retail and classic things I may want and ignore farming bronze? Blizz has Pidgeon holed players into forcing a choice as to where to commit, which spreads their data thin as well when collecting data on whos enjoying what. I have friends ignoring pandaria because they know the bronze farm sucks. They want to do it but they're running keys and raids in retail. Bronze needs frog farms or needs massive massive buffs to output of bronze we get from other sources.

It seems like maybe a bit too much content but at the same time, I think different players prefer different types of content. However, I am definitely struggling with the do I collect Bronze or do I work to get to Keystone Master for Season 4 to get the mount. So I am with you here for sure. I do believe we we will continue to see buffs to the Bronze acquisition.

@@TwoAngryFrogs I think its a bit to much content, but at the same time maybe to little? What I mean by this is while Pandaria remix is a neat idea, couldn't resources be better spent to make retail better? Add new modes into retail? New PvP maps, or new perma-events or something. Hell balancing issues could have more eyes on it. I'm not a fan of these temporary events, I got baited into pandaria due to the mounts, I've been farming sha and galleon for over half a year on 8 characters with no luck so yay me I get to grind bronze. Luckily I was going to skip season 4 to start and I don't do classic well because i think classics a dumb idea. I've played since vanilla so re-releasing a game I already played and watch it crawl back through expansions seems pointless to me. It's like re-releasing mario-64 and calling it Mario-64 classic, but its the same game...just re-released 20 years later.

@BrutalBaki While I agree, this is definitely the path of least resistance for them while working to release The War Within. All of the art assets, zones, quests, and so on are already in place, so to do Remix likely did not take any huge effort. It will be interesting to see what they do with the next 3 expansions given they have stated we will have shorter expansion cycles.

For sure @matrixxstar1325. For all of my characters, I use either Luxthos or Afenar weak auras. I do customize them to some degree once I have them installed, but both of those players make some great weakauras across all classes and specs.

I hate to break it to you, but collecting the caches from doing quests, dailies and collecting bronze from killing mobs... is a grind. Your title is misleading

@nfgames8322 This is WoW. The whole game is a grind, whether you are gearing every 6 months, collecting profession materials, and so on. 😄 But that is very different from standing in one place for 10 hours and killing the same mobs over and over.

Nothing of this is even comparable to the frog farming. Roll back froggers or let us farm it as well and solo our raids.

@ricardolionheart4920 I would prefer to see them increase Bronze across the board in a controlled way. To me the issue is with the imbalance in power between characters. I was in a dungeon yesterday with a Mage doing 1.3M DPS. Not much fun on my end since all I did was run through a dungeon.
