I customize them using the options that Luxthos provides and also a couple of customizations that I add myself depending on the class and spec. @Leo.witchere That is a Details plugin that shows what I am casting that we use in some of the class videos. There is an addon called Hekili that shows you what to cast in a similar manner to that. I have never used it but I know a lot of people like it when they are learning a new class and spec.

Haste=crit means the % or the stat value? Like 5000 haste and 5000 crit, or like 30% haste and 30% crit?

@suziewoo2820 Yeah the follower dungeon route is I think definitely the way to go. It's a grind but doable in a relatively short amount of time.

Thanks for the venom tip, I originally misunderstood you to mean 10-12 per mob (meaning 20-24 per spawn), but even at 5-6 per mob (10-12 per spawn) it still only took a couple hours.

My easy way: get the quest in your log and just ignore it until the expac is over. If you still haven’t completed it by then, farm the rest. 😂

@nexigram Not a bad idea. Some stuff is definitely easier after an xpac do to us being so overpowered at that point.

If you want to get the mount Alunira I recommend not going to City of Echoes. Instead go to the Isle of Dorn and farm the chitin then the venom from mobs that drop the chitin there. If you do this you are double dipping in with a chance for the crackling shards for Alunira. I recommend farming the chitin then venome up near the Cinderbrew Meadery, just to the NW of it, in the cave there and circle around that space. When you have the required crackling shards then certainly head to the Silken Path to defeat the rares there to get the venom quicker. Good luck with the shards.

@Tharanicus Great tip! I probably should have done some of this as well. Ended up farming rares for the shards and it feels like it took way too many kills to get the 10 shards. That grind is terrible lol.

It’s not a bad tip, but from what I heard (and experienced) they nerfed the shard drop rate. It’s still good for double-dipping mount farms, but don’t expect too many shards while doing it, lol.

@@Scuuurbs From what I have seen as well. I ended up farming rares in Isle of Dorn for the shards since they have a slightly higher drop rate but it is still an RNG grind. I ended up getting it but RNG gameplay to be honest is not enjoyable.

Well thanks for posting this video but I was honestly hoping there was a faster way compared to this being the same way we've been told to farm everything since the mount first dropped

@mykaelnyx8821 Yeah unfortunately it's a slow grind for the mount! But I do prefer this over the RNG like with some other mounts. At least we know if we do this, we will get the mount as opposed to maybe getting it depending on the luck of a roll.

Depending on class/item level, Tka'ktath is possibly soloable. I did this about a month ago, set up a custom group and there were four of us total with item levels ranging from 500-600+. He went down in about ten seconds. He's not nearly as strong as a world boss, even with the increased health.

Yeah, he's 100% soloable. I didn't even know about this quest, just saw him setting there and killed him. I did think it was weird that he had so much health, wasn't until he died that I got the quest dialogue, but @ 619 ilvl he wasn't a threat at all.

Doing it that way is the fastest way but open world farm you can also farm alunira at the same time.

@StefanosGiannouris It is a talent on the Beast Mastery specialization Talent Tree named Animal Companion. It summons your primary pet and also the pet that you have in the most right hand slot of the pet stable.

@jayjackson3836 Thanks for the comment! In the following video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iobFdKije6ujhtU) I talk about keybindings and at the 9:00 mark there is an overlay that shows the actual keys. I use the same setup for all characters as far as where the keys are mapped into the actions bars.

@nici8919 Great question! We typically do not take Death's Chill in Single Target but it looks like a new build has emerged since 11.0.7 release that does take it along with Ray of Frost. I have not played this variant of Frost so do not know too much about the play style. From what I have looked at it does not look like you need to play into DC specifically since you are spamming Frostfire Bolt in place of Ice Lance in most cases. So when Icy Veins is up, the spamming of Frostfire Bolts in this build will increase your DC stacks just from the normal rotation.

Not as awesome anymore with the bright blue undead particle effects reduced by Blizzard in such a large amount, that it's hardly noticeable anymore. 0:09 They did that for whatever stupid reason around Shadowlands release in late 2020. In the AOE rotation part you state that you simply go into lunar eclipse instead of solar. And yet in the single target part you state: cast wrath twice. Which clearly puts you into Lunar, not solar.

@ovidiuzakarias678 In ST you can start with Wrath since in the opener you will cast Incarnation: Chosen of Elune which will put you into both Eclipses. After the opener, you will see in the rotation that if Incarnation: Chosen of Elune is on cooldown you will cast Starfire twice to stay in Solar.

@@ovidiuzakarias678 No problem. Honestly, the rotations are like the optimal DPS rotations but depending on the level of content and how much you are trying to min-max, there is always room to alter the rotation a bit so it works best for you.

“Easy to get” is the biggest lie. Torrential rune fragments have a stupid low drop rate. It’s a huge turn off. Considering the reward is an OLD model with zero effort from the devs, this is simply infuriating. Thanks Ion!

@teej143 Completely agree. They changed it from how it was setup during PTR shortly before we released this video. I am still 2 Torrential Fragments short and have done a ton of farming. The drop rates are crazy low.

@bodyweighthonestly Thanks for the question. At it's core it is but I do not think you get the Crest drops anymore since all of this has moved onto The War Within and we have new types of Crests, Sparks, and Valorstones now. So the upgrade paths are likely only for new gear in TWW.

On a start of video you saying for Single Solar and for AOE Lunar... and in the rotation section you saying for single enter to cast twice Wrath to enter Solar.. so whats right? :D

@dekrus7405 Thanks for the question! We can cast Wrath twice when we first enter the single target rotation since when you cast Celestial Alignment it will put you into both eclipses. After Celestial Alignment is done and until it is back up then you would cast Starfire twice to get back into Solar.

@@dekrus7405 It's more so that Wrath is a quicker cast so you get a tick more initial damage in the opener but honestly it is not a make or break thing. Not sure what you are asking as far as the Moonfire/Sunfire.

nice guide. If anyone is here and don't see the Earthen Guardian giving the quest and you're on a brand new character. The Dragon Isle intro quest must be finished. I got to where you select a zone to help first, then the Earthen Guardian should have the quest like it did for me.

@sheelbyyink3707 For this specific video I did not use any addons, just did a bunch of research across the web and looked things up in game. I will typically use Zygor for older content though.
