Hey Jason, had a couple of queries to ask. 1. In this ICT visa, you mentioned it's going to be 'closed visa permit' and can apply for a PR after one year. Will that change the permit to an open one after 1 year or one has to be in the same firm till he/she gets a PR? 2. Yes you have to. Actually, it's the company who has to transfer you to their branch in Canada.

Hi Jason, is there any alternative to get this permit? My organisation doesn’t have an office in Canada but has in the US, can that work? Also, any advise and options for me- I would really like to immigrate but my CRS scores are too low (335 despite having good IELTS score) as I am single and about to hit 40 shortly. I wasted a lot of money with consultants here in India initially who kept telling me to get good scores which again costed too much but that hasn’t helped either at the end. Great that I found your videos, they guide us all way more than what most of the consultants do as they themselves are hardly aware of so many options and changes. The only applicants exempted from showing any POF are people who have LMIA supported job offers. Everyone else has to show POF similar to Express Entry amounts.

Hi. Doubt from Colleague.. He is working in India for US client and one guy from his team in US resigned. Since my colleague is Diploma holder and he cannot travel or work in USA so the company said they will change him it to UK team. Everything is done and he received UK visa also. But the issue is same company but different name. Eg. USA company name is (ABC limited) but in UK company name is (ABC consultants) same company but 2 different names.. In COS, UK company (ABC consultants) name is mentioned but he is working for US (ABC limited) and billing is done on US name.. Now the travel team from UK has sent mail to Ireland to confirm whether both companies are same or not Will this effect anywhere?

That's not how ICT works. ICT is for an overseas company having their branch in Canada. If you work in Canada for 1 year you can apply through the CEC.

@@bandigowri1506 Hi Gowri, Without having a onsite requirement from the client MNC companies will not open a position or initiate ICT work permit. Because once we transferred to Canada they have to change the payroll to $CAD from INR. So chances to get ICT depends on Clients requirement.
