First video I picked to watch on replacing the fuses, perfect! Didn’t need to go anywhere else! Short, informative and to the point. Thank you!

Thanks a lot for this excellent demonstration. You're camera shot was perfect getting a micro shot. Your narration was simple and to the point. I had an issue trying to open the plastic with my screwdriver. I thought I was doing something wrong since I rarely if ever had to deal with this. But we have string of Fourth of July Lights (not Christmas ones this time around) on our patio that went. Hopefully its just the fuse. I hope I can find the spare ones (they are so darn tiny). If not I will be making a trip to Ace. Again you did an excellent job and I know its not easy getting a close up like that while working on it. I used to be a professional videographyer. Thanks again! Really appreciate you.

Thank you so much for this instruction. I have Christmas window candles, and I managed to knock one off of the sill the other night. I was afraid the bulb would break, but the bulb did not break. The electric candle's fall was broken by the arm of my wing chair, and then it fell to ground probably less than 2 ft. To my relief, the bulb did not break. Instead, it turned out the fuse blew, and boy did it blow! Caused a black mark on the slide out door where the fuse is located. Anyway, by the time I figured out there was a fuse in the plug which may be the problem (it then caused the lightbulb to blow out, too), I did not know how to change the fuse. I was so glad to find your video! I opened the slot on the plug, used a tiny flat screwdriver to pop out the fuse and discovered that it had broken in two! I used a needle nose pliers to pull out the half that was closest to the prongs and then eventually managed to put in the new fuse, and now the candle works again. I am still amazed this happened. It did not fall far at all, and the fall did not cause the light bulb to break either. I still cannot imagine what made the fuse blow. Very happy that I managed to replace the fuse, though, thanks to you. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you soooooooo much. 1 set of lights blew out about 5 or more sets that were connected and I was soooooo upset and devastated until I found your video and found out that it was only 1 fuse that was causing the problem.

Thanks so much. Our Tree went out on Boxing Day & I had intended to keep it up till mid- January at least. Lucky for us, the blown fuse was in the 1st strand closest to the outlet. Fixed in just a few minutes.

Thank you so much 🎄 Brand new lights I didn't even know there were fuses LoL & half the strand went right out after plugging them in🤬 I read the directions, found the fuse part, got it open, but was afraid I'd damage it trying to get the fuses out. Your video saved my Christmas & sanity. LoL Your instructions were easy & now the whole dang strand works! LoL 🎀🎄🎀😁👍

Heads up people, I bought that strand of 100 lights on Amazon for $14.99. I then bought 4 strands of 100's & 3 strands of 50's at Dollar General all for less then $15.00!!! All 7 strands work Perfect!!! So if you want the tiny lights in all white or colors I highly recommend Dollar General & they come with fuses also in case I need em😁👍

So I'm your newest #1fan. You rock dude. 100%!!! I've watched 4 tutorials all claiming to show me how to get the fuses out of my Christmas lights, which on a side note I purchased 3 yrs ago for about 2 bucks the day after Christmas. Only half the strand worked but hey... for 2 bucks, I'll take half a strand 😁but so for whatever reason while hanging them today I thought "hmmm, I wonder if maybe it's just the fuse or something???" So I decided to change them and see EXCEPT the little darn things wont come out. So I'm not ashamed to admit I don't know something and watch a tutorial so I can learn, but nobody's showing me how to get them out.... they say they will show me how to change them but then skip right over that part 😕👎until I ran across yours and decided to try one more, and in less than 2 minutes you said they have little clips on them.... See, that I did not know... So I did as you did except I used my metal nail file and SNAP! Them little sucker's popped right out, I slid 2 new ones in and plugged it nice and snug in an outlet... and would you believe.... Swear to God... The whole strand lit up!!!💡💡💡💡 3 yrs later on a $2 find after Christmas sale🤑 for 15 ft. of white twinkling lights and with the help of you and 2 new little fuses they will shine in all their glory this year!!! Tysm!!! You the man!!!👏👏👏😘🙏✌ Merry Christmas! Stay Well! God Bless! Chow~Chow

You can also use duct tape or grey tape as lots of people call it. Just use a small piece and push it on to the fuse and pull quickly. Out comes the fuse.

Well for some reason, I can't get my door closed. It's seems strange, two silver metal ends are deep in the wire side. Perhaps someone had placed a smaller fuse set and closed the door pushing them deep inside. Very strange. I saw how the door closes easily. I bet that somehow a smaller fuse set was pushed 8n before. This is very deep and out of sight until the door closes but does not slide under
