That is a nice trick , I am not sure but could you also parent the fog card to the camera , that way if one moves the other automatically moves .Nice video.

I've always used After Effects and like you said it's a struggle to get these kind of effects to look realistic with any kind of flexibility. Thanks for the tutorial!

Hi! Thanks for tutorial! I love the result. Only one Q - how to keep fog white? When im come close to fog it comes to brawn or dark gray color. Thank you!

This looks mighty impressive. A massive thumbs up ;D Could i do a request for creating an infinite plane... Like a desert scene. Where a drone can take off upward and u cant see the end of the landscape. No matter what i try you will always see the edge grrrrrrr Be great to see how you would tackle this problem. Been driving me mad for over year. Maybe UE5 can handle it with nanite etc?

Thank you very much for this explanatory video, the result is great. I have put it into practice but if the camera has DOF the mist is not blurred correctly, is there any solution for this? thanks

Go into the material and find "Translucency Pass" in Details pane. Set it to "After DOF".

Could there be a way to parent the fog plane to the camera so it moves with it? Would that do the trick in sequencer?

You could just parent the plane to the camera, so you just move the camera. ;
