Class 3 is not required, just go 2 to 4. If you sit your Class 5 after Class 4 you automatically get given your Class 3

Heavy Rigid I think it is class 4. You must pass theory computer test only here is the information sdt.nz/licence-conversion

Thanks for your comment a d feedback. To operate forklift up to 18000kg legally any where including on a road in NZ you need OSH certificate, class 1 licence and F endorsement. If you want to operate bigger forklift, you need class 2, F and OSH ))

Do I still have to wait 6 months to get a class 2 learner license even right after issuing an international class 1 license in NZ? I am a foreigner holding the same level as a class 1 full license but outside of NZ.

You must apply for DL4 application for exemption to recognise your overseas licence experience. Application cost 100$ and once approved you cal apply for class 2L straight away

There are In fact, a lot of the truck drivers I see in NZ are Indians. You have to have valid Work Visa to be eligible to apply > go to immigration.govt.nz You can also look for jobs through > trademe.co.nz and seek.co.nz are the most popular job sites in NZ You need Class 2 to 5 licence to drive trucks (depending on size, weight and many other criteria) > go to nzta.govt.nz
