What are the search phrases for an digital marketer
@ChrisProutyVideos4 ай бұрын
Hello, there are so many possible search phrases. I think I would start by exploring. What some of the questions are that people ask you on sales calls and zoom in on some key phrases within those conversations… I would probably reach out to my current clients and ask them what sort of things they're doing with digital marketing, and then you could extract some key phrases from that… Another thing you could do when someone reaches out to you for your service you can ask them what they searched for. Ultimately, there are a lot of dependencies on the type of digital marketing that you offer so doing some research should definitely help. -Chris

@@ChrisProutyVideos Believe me, feeling is mutual. This video is so important because it sets the stage for everything else. This morning I got on LI and it was a beautiful experience. I have been searching for the right approach and who to approach to for a while.(from what I understand) the traditional methods of selling on LI make business owners, like myself, uncomfortable. I was just on the phone last week with my manufacture, who is still using a traditional LI marketing company. A while back they gave this company my information. She was so aggressive, I ended up ghosting her. Anyway, my point is, like my manufacture, we offer something meaningful. We worked extremely hard to create a product. Why do we have to cheapen ourselves and our offering and get in this desperate annoying dirty pool of “selling on LI?” While on the phone I asked them “Why are you working with a company that does not align with your selling?” And their answer: “Because there is nothing else.” That is why you are so important. I can sell to top clients with integrity. 1) you can count on me to talk to my manufacturer and everyone else about your approach to LI marketing. 2) I am just a start-up so you won’t be hearing from me until I’m ready to pull the trigger. But once I do, it’ll be with you. 3) I wish you all the success because business owners like myself need your ideas.(and how you executed them are amazing). You deserve it. I’m happy that I found you. What you say in these videos- It just makes sense. Thank you.

Thank you, Chris, for sharing the tips in a very succinct way. The way you explain it makes the process easier and very personable. When you talk about "search phrases", is there a specific length that you recommend?
@ChrisProutyVideos2 жыл бұрын
Hi Iris, thanks for the comment and great question! I focus on "user intent" over length. What phrases are your perfect prospects searching for. With that, the more authority you build in your market, you'll start to show up in search for shorter phrases. For example, I used to focus on phrases like "how to get clients on LinkedIn for entrepreneurs." I'm now showing up for, simply, "entrepreneur" in search on KZbin (my primary social channel). LinkedIn works the same way. Focus on user intent first. You'll win that way.

Thanks so much for the comment my brother. Here is some advice for you. First, the keywords you chose are really good and will help find a target audience. Here's is what I'd recommend testing. Use SEO tools or AI to research what key phrases NON-EXPERTS are searching for... For example, a good prospect for you in Website Design might by searching for "website for my business" or "business website" SEMRush gave me these ideas: Business website design Website design for small business Professional website design Affordable website design Custom website design Best website design for businesses Responsive website design Local business website design E-commerce website design Small business web design examples So, you are off to a good start, now it's time to test and refine. @ChrisProutyVideos Жыл бұрын
Hi Emem! A confectionary copywriter sounds like a great title. If I were mentoring you, I'd push you to explore what words your prospects are *really* using to find your services. What I'm suggesting is, are your prospect truly searing for "confectionary copywriter" or something similar or simpler. Presuming "confectionary copywriter" means you write copy for the culinary world with a focus on desserts, perhaps instead, they would search for "dessert writer" or "food writer" or "food copywriter" or similar. Do some research and ask around to get ideas. You are on the right track. If you'd like to attend a free "office-hour" to brainstorm with me, I hold Thursday from 2-3pm every week. This was a great video. I learned a lot. But im stumped. 1. Moving the conversation off LinkedIn seems..... seedy. Like "What does he want?", "why?". Also you never outlined when we drop the sales pitch. Nobody in this busy world is going to have a GET TO KNOW YOU call with a random person that stalked them and was too freindly on LinkedIn. Please do not misunderstand this messege. You are very informative and I did learn a lot..... Just not how I get Clients. Please could you outline this part please. Thank you and keep up the awesome work.
@ChrisProutyVideos Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Sol. The most successful people I mentor realize that when you employ the strategies I teach, you get people reaching out to you to get on a call and they are ready to become clients. In other words, everything that used to be done on sales calls or intro calls happens well in advance of the call. So, for me and my mentees, our calls turn into "how do we get started" calls. That's a big difference. No one I work with stalks prospects on LinkedIn and then tries to get them on a call. In fact, it's the other way around...because of they way we present on the platform, we get a flood of people reaching out to us wishing to become clients. I hope this makes sense.
