A little confession I got Baptist in march of 2023 and let me tell you it was the best thing I ever felt! But the journey has not been easy and I ended back in my old cycles. Got back together with my ex and still it doesn’t fill right I have tried to let go of the relationship but I am not able to, I am so defeated I do not know what else to do!😔

Thanks so much for opening up, I definitely know the challenge of remaining in God once you make that decision to stay committed to him after receiving him in your life. I would encourage you to bring this challenge to him in prayer and seek him earnestly even when you feel right. study Romans 7:15-20 and you will see that this is a very common challenge. I also went through this a lot. Don't be hard on yourself and allow guilt to pull you back. God allows things to happen to teach us something and build our character for a greater purpose.

When we try to remain obedient using our own power, it is a battle , but allow Gods power to work through you by simply remaining in him and reading his words about your situation, learning more about him and the Holy Spirit will help you. again, dont beat yourself up, that attitude of being hard on yourself is not how God sees you.
