I’ve got 4 fender Strats, silver sky is probably the best S style one of all of them.

Are you running into the compressor first? And then driving the compressed sound? Or is it after and your compressing the gained up sound? Excellent sounds bro, been thinking about a TD but I have several gain pedals already including KoT so it's tough to justify lol

A bit of both actually. The cali76 is before the TD pushing some extra volume into the front end as well as smoothing it out a bit. Then there is compression in post in the ox box for the entire effects and all sound replicating what you’d see at the mixing console either live or on a studio recording.

It's interesting watching this as you're a "modal" player (like satch) whereas David's not and mainly plays pentatonic blues riffs and adds lots of slight bends to all his notes. Don't get me wrong, you're an awesome player but you don't sound like Gilmour even with this gear. Musty guitar is the best replication I've heard of his sound - he gets his tone and his style almost perfect. The chap from Guilmourish is also very good. I think half David's tone is in his fingers not his pedals. Saying this I bought a TD-Y pedal (replicates thePC tube driver) and you can get really close with that. I'll bet you can play Satriani stuff - I gave up trying to play that!

All pentatonics on this nothing fancy going on for the most part. I definitely don’t claim to be a Gilmour playing expert though, just trying to get close to that live “Pulse” lead tone here which I think I got pretty close too. Thanks for the kind words!
