Extract can be taken out anytime after you have passed the driving test

But if you are going abroad you also need smartcard which can be printed within a week or less if you have got visa

It depends upon which place you are going you can always ask the drive test center about it.

Most probably till this date I think you can skip the G2 test but you have to contact drive test center after you land here to know about the recent government policy. Also don’t forget to bring you drivers license, driving abstract and license verification with you.
