How To Get Driving License In Japan(Hindi) ll Driving Test Tips And Tutorial ll Indian In Japan
Required Documents
Valid Indian driver’s license - and previous licenses, if you have them; if the license does not show the date of issue, or if the license was recently renewed, it may be necessary to submit additional documentation. ( In my case they have asked to provide the certificate from India RTO office ( my DL was issued by Delhi RTO and then first i had to get the certificate from Delhi and submit here along with other required document ) This is mandatory.
Japanese translation of foreign license- available from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) or (sometimes) at the embassy or consulate of the issuing country in Japan. JAF is best to obtain the translation - you can either visit to them and submit your application or you can do it via postal service as well. up to you.
Resident certificate (Jūminhyō) - required at License Centers.
Passport - and any expired passports; the passport is required to prove that you were in the country that issued your license for at least three months after you obtained your license.
Photo - one photo, 3 x 2.4 cm; must be taken within the last six months - you don’t need to bring it in advance . you can find photo studio in license center , it’s so easy to get it done there.

In the UK driving test, if you go less than a specific speed limit, then it can be marked as a serious driving fault, like if the road is clear and straight without any bends, then, if you go at 25 or 30 on a 40 mph road you would be failed. Because you will be creating inconvenience to other road users.

Be confident and go for the driving test and don’t forget to do AISATSU to your inspector who will take your driving test..rest I have explained in this video..most important part is to check both side when you are turning or crossing..drive very slow in S-curve and Crank always keep your both hands on handle..all the very best.. But after 8 month in japan I return to India and leave here for 4 months in India … so will be this considered as 3 months stay in self country with license ????? Bro if I’m not wrong you have to stay in India 🇮🇳 right after your license issued, for more detailed information I think you better contact the license centre near you in japan, I hope in your case it might work and they will ask for a NOC from the authority which issued your license in India along with other documents like, your family registration in Japan, your Indian license translation in Japanese from JAF, form photos etc..

Bhai aapko driving aati hai ya nahi..usse farak nahi padta, agar aapko naya japanese driving license chahiye toh aapko driving school jaa ker hi lena padega..but aapko driving aati hai usse thodi bahut help milegi but Japan ki driving skills aur rules are very different from India..so don’t worry if you get your license from driving school they will teach you everything very nicely 😊
