Hi I want to share my experience with rescheduling process. It is clear and time taking process. We need patience. Click reschedule appointment,then Normal ofc slot searching, if u find the right date, click it, immediately you will receive the consular interview post, select the location, again and again search all available centre,wait for the date patiently, then you will find the available slots book it immediately. Thats all . Take out the print out.

You are allowed to schedule 4 times maximum. I was looking at availability around 6-7 AM Indian time but I would ask you to check on 2-3 times on different timings as well in a day especially do it around 3 PM also.

So i made payment again as it was the last attempt in my previous payment hence could not use the payment made during first time. Once you choose reschedule you need to reschedule both appointments. You may or mY not get same date for consular appointment. I think your kids only need to be for OFC appointment but confirm at VFS as well.

Hello! So will the available dates be updated when switching from one location to another? I know you shouldnt login more than twice a day, so I want to stay logged in and switch to different locations all day within my same login session. Is there a chance i will be soft banned? Thanks :)

They get updated though out the day. I think you may not want to be logged in more than an hour in one time.

@@shashanksharma2258 No, brother. It turns out I was too late to re-schedule and my MRV fees had expired so I couldn't reschedule. Basically, I had to repay the MRV fees to schedule the appointment again which I got in January 2026. Not sure it was worth it. When you go to the log-in page, there are usually many notices, one of them regarding the MRV fee. Try finding and reading that one to see if you are still able to reschedule or not.

First you need to create a new DS160 with correct name and you need to do the same for US visa portal. Then schedule appointments.
