Snap judgments and Educated collins snap are the two best channels for marvel snap. The insights we gain from this channel is actually useful. Also, hey can you make a tier list for series 4 cards so that we can purchase them in the shop with tokens(f2p) or you could just say what are the top 3?

for series 4, they are mostly archetype specific cards so you should pull for the ones that fit the archetypes you play knull is a great pick for destroy, as it allows you to go vertical in a lane, as well as being funny in some negative or galactus decks M.O.D.O.K. is a must have if you want to play discard, no other card can fit his role usually ravonna and zabu are great all-rounders for cost reduction: if you have a ton of 4 costs you want to play, get zabu. if most of the cards you play are 1 or less power, get ravonna. having a cheap cost reduction card you can splash in decks allows for more creativity when you’re deck building. ultimately though, looking at the upcoming spotlights is good to do before buying a series 4 card, because the card you want may be coming in a spotlight soon. For example, zabu is coming in a spotlight soon with supergiant (unreleased card) and darkhawk. darkhawk has always been great if you want to play his archetype, and supergiant seems interesting. so in my case, i have an account with no zabu or darkhawk, so i will be pulling on that cache to maximize my progression not an expert, but i haven’t played for too long and im almost collection complete, so it works for me :)

Here's my anecdote in support of the Season Pass. Under the previous systems and card release cadences, it took me 14 months of only spending on the Season Pass to hit collection complete. The Season Pass really was enough to get there by sticking to the methods described in this video, even with a few screw-ups and misclicks along the way. As I crossed the finish line, I pretty much exhausted my tokens and keys (because of those mistakes), meaning that in 2024, I have finally had to pour in some extra money to continue being collection complete. If I'd been truly flawless in my execution, I could have been complete sooner, and probably still would not have had to supplement the Season Pass with any additional spending.

The way to do it is to hoard keys and tokens once you have a solid playable deck you like and are going to play for a while. This is because the best time to open spotlights is when the 3 cards for the week are all cards you don’t have. This is because you will spend 3-4 keys to get all new cards and if you manage to hit the mystery card, it might give you a card you don’t have as well. But if not, you will get tokens. Then with the tokens you have hoarded, you will use them on series 3 and 4 cards and wait for series drops. Only buy a series 5 if you absolute need to for a card you need for the deck you want to play for a while.

Great great video. Also good to see work from the numbers peeps presented this way for a lot of other players. F2P is a good way to go, but this should show how expectations should be tempered about collections. Selective SP buying should also help those who want to remain competitive on ladder and conquest (if you’re a try hard) but without spending regularly. Also, I would say watching out (or tracking) for those smaller gold bundles that are actually better value than the 7K ones is another small step to help. January double Premium Mystery variant bundle was really good value!

I’ve been following this and I’ve been pretty much able to get every card I want. The issue is when a s5 card gets buffed and isn’t in spotlights for a while, and also that many cards released to s4 are not worth the tokens to get. I think the last card I got with tokens on release was Mobius, and then I picked up Mirage when Loki was meta. I did hear a while back that SD doesn’t actually decide what series cards get released into, though I don’t know if that’s still true through the whole publisher debacle, but the last evidence for series not being based on strength was Mobius, 4 seasons ago. I do hope that pattern changes back

I'm at a point, where I basically have every card I need. And I'm free to play. So, I just get the spotlight caches, which have at least 2 cards I don't have or a really really good card. Only used 1 spotlight key in the last 2 months and had quite a lot of spotlight caches before aswell. I now have 6k tokens and 11 spotlight keys... Luckily, the next few weeks will include 2 cards I don't have quite often. It has gotten kind of stale in my collection in the last few months. Free to play is really possible, but if you miss a good card, like I did with iron lad for a long time, it can feel so discouraging to not play the top meta deck. But mainly just because of variety, not because you actually need all the cards. I hit infinite every season and got every unique reward in every conquest so far. Most hindering parts of f2p are broken season pass cards, Loki, elsa and ms marvel were rough for me, but luckily shuri was good for the longest time during those months.
