Thanks so much for your resources, I will definitely use them for my tests, just one question What would you recommend for a second language speaker, for me the most difficult thing is the time, since my first language is Spanish I need more time for reading phrases and passages, any specific tips for this part in the tests? Thanks.

You can apply for extra time. Here is the link to explore that option: www.ets.org/praxis/register/plne_accommodations/

I really appreciate your video here! I am studying for the praxis core reading/writing tests right now. I've researched a variety of praxis prep platforms and it's hard to choose one. Are the ACT passages the hardest and most effective? If I just grill myself on ACT passages and ETS practice tests every day, then probably no need to even enroll in a prep course? I am also wondering if ACT passages from years ago will still be accurate study material for praxis tests in 2023? Glad for your thoughts if you can, thanks!

Awesome strategy. I love to hear from people using these released tests. The key to passing the reading is to practice your reading. So if you are using ACT released test to practice reading comprehension, you do not have to spend money on a program. And yes, ACT released tests will work, even the older ones because they assess the same skills and principles. Well done!

Hi- I was looking for the FTCE Reading Specialist 5301 video and it is now private! Is there anyway I can get access? I watched it months ago and it was very helpful!

I have failed 3 times. I need a lot of help. I have a learning disability but my school doesn’t help me fill out the paper work to ets so I can get more time. What can I do to learn to read faster and understand what I am reading? I struggle with reading comprehension if I read too fast.

The key is to practice reading every day. It really does help to get faster. It is like running--the more you do it, the better you get. What test are you prepping for?
