I'm afraid that upwork wants you to pay money for connects. As far as I know, there are no methods for getting free connects right now that are not shown in this video. Since we both know that the ways shown require you to start by spending money before you get free bonus connects, it means that you can either pay money or use the other way to get jobs on upwork which is 100% free and doesn not cost connect, and that is to use project catalog
