Maybe they are just not in a hurry to get the job done. Maybe you should reconsider your attitude. Clients care about their own interests, it's not their job to make sure you have all the jobs and money you want as quickly as you want it.

@@AlecG well i have a suggestion most of your thumbnail are focused just on upwork. You also use the green them that associates with Upwork. This is not bad but the problem is you are limiting your reach and you are narrowing down on just freelancers who wanna know about upwork. if your thumbnail say talked about freelancing in general and then narrowed it down to content about upwork then your funnel of audience will increase. Everyone interested in freelancing will click on the video. Then your content is not just about upwork its about your experience as a Freelancer. I can help you improve some stuff. I have been watching your videos from few days you are a intresting and you sound like you know what you are doing

I've been using it for 3 years and probably lost >$20000 in fees and connects. On the other hand I have connected with several agencies. The problem is that you might get banned if you contact someone outside of Upwork, because it's directly against their TOS.

What if I create another account and upload a job offer and with my original account I send a request and then get paid by myself so I have one review and then other people starts noticing my profile? I am also a web developer, next year an engineer, and I saw an Upwork course, I haven't even send anything because I learnt in the course that is pretty hard, but what you're saying motivates me a little more, I'm just adjusting my profile and will send proposals but I just wonder that, maybe is a dumb question but aaah idk, I'm starting to be an adult 😂

@@luca_argo well, its best that you dont use both accounts on the same device ever nor the same internet connection because a lot of people got their account banned by trying to do that. Good luck for your first proposals, if you learn how to write a good cover letter, you will see its not that hard 🙂

I worked with a new client without following the proper procedures such as accepting the contract. After completing the work, the client and I manually set the time, and the client confirmed that it was okay. The client informed me that he had ended the project and linked the card with Upwork, mentioning that it might be charged on the following Monday. However, I haven't received any updates from Upwork, as the amount hasn't been added to my balance, and the review hasn't been posted. Is it normal for it to take a week, or can you explain how the client or freelancer should close the project?

sounds like you got scammed. Next time follow the proper procedures. I suggest you contact upwork support in case they can do something about it, but most likely you will never get the money
