They won't leave without u. Boarding first only means you sit in your seat longer. A real reason to ask to board early is for cary on baggage stowing with delicate items that you don't want to have bumped into non carry on.

Yea duh. It’s about overhead space. Also I prefer not to climb over people. I love priority boarding and if you don’t understand that’s on you.

Never do more than $1000, but also, never go below $400. But remember, they will always go to the lowest bidders first, so it really depends on the situation (like if the next flight isn't until next day) that more people will aim higher.
