You can transfer your website from one hosting to another hosting. But you can not transfer hosting... if you want to give hosting access to client, then buy hosting with a separate email id that you can share with them. Or you can add users in your cPanel.

@@GreatStackDev i'll explain my method: I build the website locally or on a subdomain( if i build it with wordpress) and after i finish it, i let the client to make a hosting account and buy the domain, and afterwards i upload the finished website on that domain. My client dont depend on me on the future and... i dont need to serve him every time he has a small problem that involves 10-15 mins ( because im ashamed to tell him to pay me for 10 mins but... is annoying to work for free because you are a nice guy ) and thats the reason that i reccomend separate hosting.
