Several years ago I asked my sweet grandmother for her recipe for her famous pumpkin pie so that I could make it for Thanksgiving. She brought me into her kitchen, sat me down at her table. She went to her pantry, took a can down and set it into my hands. It was a can of Libby's Pumpkin Puree. She said the recipe is on the label. Your mother is correct...nothing beats Libby's.

A tip for pomegranates! I open mine under water in a big bowl or filled sink. That way the juice doesn’t squirt or stain anything when you accidentally burst a seed. Even better, the white pith floats while the seeds sink. Makes separating them to get really clean seeds super easy.

My daughter (almost 9 now) was born Nov 26th and due on my dads birthday Jan 30th. & she weighed 6lbs 7oz. & stayed the 36 hours (I believe, what our state mandates after birth for mom) she went home when I did. She didn't need any time in NICU, or any other care measures. I'm unsure if the doctors dates were off.. I did have an aminocenstis as she had markers for something "wrong", also because I had a previous daughter pass while pregnant due to Turners Syndrome years before.

All my Chemo is done & I am cancer free!!! I wish their was a Penzy's near me here in Utah. I also took your grocery advice & park near a cart corral & I do use your mom's list. Do you have one for cleaning? I am taking this Thanksgiving off with my Thyroid cancer issues so my brother & I drove 10hrs to my parents in Albq, NM to spend time with them, all my grandparents & extended family I have never met. I've never made a gingerbread house before so I may do this for Christmas this year! I don't blame you for not liking frosting because I don't either. I love those laundry sheets. I've been using them for the past year and they're so easy to use. I actually packed one when I went on vacation in case I wanted to wash any clothes in the sink. It's super light, less packaging, and I also haven't had any issues with getting things clean. I love these videos. If I can't have a real tree for Christmas, then I won't have any sort of tree. The wonderful pine aroma reminds me of everything wonderful about winter, Christmas, and all the great memories of when our family decorated when I was a kid, and also when I had my kids and we decorated. The kids continually stopping to stick their noses up against the branches to smell the pine and seeing their faces light up. You see, we live in the desert, so no snow, no trees, just sand and lots of sunshine. So having a REAL tree is as close as we can get to being in the snow-covered mountains and trees to experience a white Christmas.

I use laundry sheets as well, they are fantastic!! I recycle the cardboard box they come in so there is no waste. The pre-cut, pre-measured sheets help my teen not waste product. I think you will like them, I sure do!

After making the coffee on the car mistake one too many times (plus other items on top of the car), if I have to set it down before getting in, I now ALWAYS set it on the hood where I'd see it if I happen to forget. 😊

I love your mom! I did the same when I had babies. Always parked by the cart return. Mine aren’t babies but I still park by the cart return. Super convenient when you’re done loading up to return the cart.

I always return my cart but after I had my son, I didn’t realize to park next to cart return until one day I had to leave it bc I was not comfortable leaving my baby and couldn’t walk him and the car seat in the rain there and back, always snag a spot close to the return now!🥰

Wish I could like this 100 times. I realized parking by the cart return was genius with my 2nd baby. I have 4 little ones 6 and under.

I love the washer sheets! I keep them in an envelope, so much less waste and so light!
