Great Video! I have been using the sponge for about 6 month, and within the 2nd month, my hair was completely lock up. I also wash my hair about every 3-4 days. Washing your hair actually helps the locking process. Just don't do it too often.

If you are in the beginning stages you can wash your hair about once a week or once every two weeks

A retwist doesn’t cost any money if you do it yourself. You can just get your hair damp and twist it with water. A retwist isn’t necessary but if you want your dreads to hang, a retwist helps that.
