Absolutely! It's super important that you remember that as a contract service provider, people are more concerned about the results than they are a resume/past experience. They want to trust that when they delegate something to you that it will get accomplished. Taking control of the sales conversation, listening to their needs and giving them confidence that you're going to follow through will get you that first client to build off of!

@@heidipetruzzi8873 got it. Use time blocking...just 15 minutes a day. Set an alarm! By setting these parameters you make it non-negotiable and you force yourself to get to business since your time is limited :)

I have those cube timers that you can flip to 15, 30, 60 min etc. So simple and effective. I do need to get strict with social media time.

Great question, Megan! It does matter! You'll want to find groups with your ideal clients in them...meaning, people who NEED the services that you offer. Also, pay attention to how many people are in the group and the engagement. You want to see a lot of different posting and commenting. If the group is crickets, that's not the group for you :)
