This is such great information. There are so many people that don’t travel because of anxiety about things like this. The idea of getting off the plane and not knowing where to go or what to do will stop some people from traveling. Awesome info! Thank you!!

It is so true that if you are worried about how big an airport is and how difficult it will be to find the train station it can totally put you off booking! I think airport transfers are one of the biggest stresses for people! So I am so glad this video was requested as it's such a great topic!

Congratulations Sophie. No one has provided anything like this. You've made this look so straightforward. My friend said she'd not seen any video that explains it simply. This will be invaluable for travellers especially those now considering flying after the direct Eurostar has finished.

I also love the Luggage Express so you can leave your bags to be taken to the hotel for you and head straight into the parks! Have the most amazing trip!

Very useful. I always indulge in a private transfer (really not the most cost effective for a solo traveller but I love how easy it is) but I'd like to try the train at some point so will refer back to this!
@MostMagicalGuides8 ай бұрын
A private transfer is so nice knowing you are collected as soon as you exit baggage claim and get taken right to your hotel! I've done this a few times, once when I arrived quite late at night and the trains were no longer running and when there was a national strike across France and it was so handy! I love that the train takes just 10 minutes! And buying tickets 2 weeks before or when you arrive to get them half price is such a handy hack to know!

Hi Marc! I am so glad to hear this! It is such a great hack to get the tickets cheaper! Before the 2 weeks they are so expensive for a 10 minute journey! But getting them half price helps so much! Hi great video I am hoping to go next June can you recommend the best place to stay?
@MostMagicalGuidesАй бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! It is so handy to have such a fast train (we all need to get to Disney ASAP!). My personal preference is staying on-site at a Disneyland Paris hotel, just because you are super close, get benefits such as the hour early entry into the parks (which helps you get on the big rides with very short queues!) and free transport to the parks. Disney packages also include park tickets which is great! I have found that sometimes I see a really good price for an off-site hotel, but once I add the park tickets it works out pretty much the same as staying in a Disney Hotel! If you did want to stay off-site I have stayed in both B & B Disneyland Paris and Campanile Val de France and liked both! They offer simple accommodation but for really good prices and also have free shuttles to the park (and I think they both have free breakfast included too). These hotels are just behind the Disneyland Paris hotels so close by too!

Good Morning 🌅 Sophie , Thanks for your fast reply , I'm so glad that to hear that the shuttle buses to the parks will continue, I just booked to stay at The Magic Grand hotel and their website says free shuttle bus , like you say it wouldn't make good business sense that's why people book these hotels , no buses means there would be long lines of taxis waiting outside of these hotels 😂 Social media can be so annoying at times with silly rumours . Look forward to your new videos Thanks again 👍 David

Are there elevators/lifts to use instead of the escalators? In all of the areas you showed that have escalators? Also, what would an uber cost in comparison to this?
@MostMagicalGuides5 күн бұрын
Hi! Yes, both Charles de Gaulle and Chessy train stations do have elevators which is great news. Uber on average will cost around €50, but just be aware of surge pricing. A private transfer will be around €70-80.

Your videos are fab! This is putting me at ease and making me think I'll be able to take my two children on my own for the first time. Do you know how the rides word for a group of 3 (me and then a 5 and 7 year old), can you ride in 3's or would someone always have to ride on their own? Any help would be much appreciated xx
@MostMagicalGuides7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and for such a lovely comment! This makes me so happy! Most rides will be able to sit 3 across which is great! But if not then you have the option of your 2 children sitting together and you behind (children 7 and under have to ride with an adult but if you are with them just in a row behind this should be OK, but you can always double check with a ride attendant before joining the queue!)

If i am flying direct from Newcastle with airfrance to terminal 2E..is this the same route to in the video or did you arrive st a different terminal? (Its my first time haha)
@MostMagicalGuides8 күн бұрын
It is so exciting you are going to Disneyland Paris! You will have a slightly different route but you are closer to the train station which is amazing! Terminal 2 has two long buildings and the train station is underneath Terminal 2. Terminal 2E is in the opposite building to what is shown in this video but there will be signposts to the train station and it will be easy to find!

Can I ask if there is a reason why you use the trainline app rather than the SNCF app to buy your ticket, is it cheaper that way?
@MostMagicalGuides8 ай бұрын
Heya! I just the Trainline app just because it's what I use in the UK so already have it on my phone! Hi Sophie , How are you? I heard a rumour but I don't know if it's true , is it true the Disney Partner hotels will be stopping the shuttle buses ? 😮 Thanks David
@MostMagicalGuides6 ай бұрын
Hi David! I have seen these rumours float around on social media but I have not seen anything official and I've seen the hotels still posting about the free shuttle on their website (with no indication of an end date) so I think these rumours aren't true! It wouldn't make sense for the hotels to stop the buses as the hotels are not near anything else apart from Disneyland Paris, so everyone staying there will be going to the parks. It would be a bad business move to stop the buses as lots of people wouldn't end up staying there and as there is nothing else nearby they would have no customers so I think this is just an internet rumour which is good news!

I am travelling on 11 November. There doesn’t seem to be any fast trains that day. Would you suggest the metro or the magical shuttle to get to Disney
@MostMagicalGuides2 ай бұрын
Hi! I am so sorry to hear this! I would recommend the Magical Shuttle as it will be quicker and take you straight to your Disney Hotel! The metro takes quite a while (up to 2 hours!) and you need to swap between metro lines and train lines so is a bit more complex!

Question re the 50% discounted tickets. So if you wait until you arrive to purchase your ticket to MLV do you only get the discount on the return ticket?
@MostMagicalGuides5 ай бұрын
Hi! So you can get the 50% discount 2 weeks before on any journey which is great! When you arrive you still get the discount via the trainline app which is perfect! (I don't know if you were to purchase tickets at the station if you would get the discount or if it would be full price).

Can I ask about taking luggage on the TGV trains? Do you have to pay for it and can one of our party stand with the luggage to make sure it’s safe?
@MostMagicalGuides7 ай бұрын
Hi! You can absolutely take your luggage on the TGV train with no extra cost. If you are getting on the train from Charles de Gaulle to Disneyland Paris it is a 10 minute journey, 1 stop, so I always stand in the door well near the luggage storage so I can get off quickly so this is a great option as you will also be able to keep an eye on your luggage too! It is safe to leave your luggage but the train is normally very busy because it has many stops before arriving at Charles de Gaulle so standing in the entrance can also be handy when it is hard to find a seat.

@MostMagicalGuides7 ай бұрын
Hi! You don't need to scan the QR code to enter the station but to get onto the platform there will be staff that need to see and scan your QR code. If you book online via the Trainline app your QR code tickets will be stored in the app so you don't need to print or collect any tickets which is super handy!

How long does it take to get to the station? I have stupidly bought a ticket and I don’t think I’ve given myself enough time 😅
@MostMagicalGuides3 ай бұрын
I've had this stress before! If the security queue is short once you have gotten through it it is maybe a 15 minute walk (or 10 minutes if you are super fast!). So it all depends on security. I've been lucky and never really had to queue too long for security which has been helpful!

We are arriving to CDG ( terminal 2 D) at 9.35am and train leaves at 10am, if we buy a repurchased TGV ticket, do you thing we can catch the train ?
@MostMagicalGuides6 ай бұрын
Hi! I always recommend waiting till you have landed to purchase your ticket as the tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable, so if you don't make your train in time you will lose your money. Instead I use CDG wifi and buy tickets whilst walking to the train station. If you land at 9.35 it may be difficult to get to the train station by 10am as the queue for passport control could take some time. The walk doesn't take too long so if you had no queue at passport control and don't need to collect any luggage there is a chance you could make it. But I would look up the next train time just in case!
