Thanks for that information! We are going to Paris in the fall and researched the options for moving around. We live in Mexico and Uber is a good option here but, in Paris, there are reserved lanes for bus and taxi (official ones) that a UBER cannot use. I.E. it might take much longer to go around because of that. A good option that works like UBER but is for taxis is Taxi G7. You can download the app and just manage your rides like with UBER but with the added bonus of moving around town faster.

I normally take uber but I will try and take taxi now. €65 is not bad. You are so right, the last time my Uber driver was lost for a good 30 mins. It seems like he doesn’t know where the airport arrival was. Never again. Thank you for making this video

The fake taxi scammers at CDG are awful. The airport should put up signs pointing at where they stand directly on the way to the taxis that say "These are scammers, ignore them" 😆

Hopefully soon the CDG Express train from Gare du Est will be the best transport option from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris just like the KLIA Ekspres train in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

What about the Air France bus? When I lived in Paris I used it all the time because the Air France bus that I used to take stopped at Porte Maillot and Place de l'Étoile.

Yes. The taxi attendant will find a car suitable for your party. Just get in line and you will see the attendant directing the taxis and assigning parties to them. The cost is the fixed rate price depending on whether you are going to the left or right bank.

Just do the journey in reverse! You can use Google Maps to help with times and locations. Depending how early, you can get the bus or rideshare :)

Near the taxis, they call it "VTC Pickup". Extra confusing to find because there's a gauntlet of scammers just before you get to the right place.

I would never trust the virtual tickets. I've seen peope have trouble validating and with Metro police vecause of phone service issues. Nothing beats a paper ticket or a Navigo card

Good video ... I really looked at taking the RER B into Paris but with luggage I don't want to use the Metro to get the final mile to the hotel. Trying to drag luggage onto the metro in the morning is not my idea of fun. Plus there are steps to deal with at many of the Metro stations and it also won't get us all the way to the hotel. So you might be right about the taxi being the better way to go door-to-door in this case. I had thought about taking the RER B to Gare du Nord and then catching a taxi for the last bit to the hotel, thinking it might be faster but it's likely the part of driving through Paris that is going to be the slow part anyway. Last year when we did a bicycle tour in the Cotswolds we stayed in London for 4 days ahead of the tour. We took a hotel right next to Paddington Station so taking the Heathrow Express to Paddington was the easiest way. Then walk 200 feet to our Mercure Paddington hotel. Not quite so simple in Paris. I guess we could just stay in a hotel around Gare du Nord but other videos I've watched said that area is a bit sketchy. The hotel I want to stay in is in Arrondissement 7 near Rue Cler. The RER B won't help there, going to need to take a taxi anyway so might as well just take it from the airport and be done with it.

Very useful…..probably shows how long ago i travelled but am assuming AIr France airport bus to Etoile no longer operates. I was a big fan of RER but as with London some underground connections are much less convenient than others …..Chatelet I recall being a very large station
