@@SamuelStephen28 there are no walkable hotels close to the port, especially with luggage. An Uber, taxi or hotel shuttle are your options. I walked to the ship from bayside shopping center in about 40 minutes but I only had a backpack.

great video. i was thinking of taking the bus line 7 before i saw this video. i have a question, however: 1:07 the sign says heading southbound no need to transfer at earlington heights so why did you get off at earlington heights. is it because you are traveling east bound? i thought going from miami airport to port of miami it is east not south. and if it is south, why did you get off when the sign says no transfer needed. TIA

Because on the weekends they only run that metro to Earlington Heights and then the train returns to the airport. I believe in weekdays you don’t have to get off .

I am thinking it would cost $30 from the aiport to the port and depending on the time of day, the traffic can be bad.

I live in wpb thinking of taking the tri rail to Mia airport but idk if I should get a Uber or use this method

I think Tri tail will be much cheaper than an Uber, although the Uber will be much faster.

do u know how to take it back to the aiport from the cruise port? can one rent a bike from the various bicycle kiosks (perhaps near the port or south beach) and drop off the bike near the airport?

Yes, take the trolley from the port to the Government Center trolley station and then hop on the metro to the airport. It’s actually easier to take it back to the airport from port Miami. I don’t know about bicycle rental available near the port.

Allow for one hour, minimum.

The trolley doesn’t go all around the port, so some terminals aren’t on the route. You may have to walk a long way to get to your terminal
