Welcome to the game of Warframe! I would suggest starting out by completing the star chart and working towards the Gauss mission. While doing so, acquire a mining tool in Fortuna and begin to work on the Cetus and Fortuna reputations, as you are limited to a certain amount of reputation daily. Additionally, familiarize yourself with your Warframe's abilities and take your time to learn the game. There's no need to rush, take your time and learn. Guys please explain this game to me. I didn't play this game for years now. Idk how long its been but plains of eidolon was just announced. I just installed it again because its still getting updates and has a fanbase but I don't understand shit about this game. My first move after I installed it was to check the warframes that were released in all this time and I found Gauss which i desperately want to unlock and at this point (after being mislead by the Internet and AI for hours) I'm starting to study this shit. What I've understood so far: There are factions that receive experience after you complete missions which you can level up to receive more or better items. Okey I get that. Why does it seems to be limited daily? Is it limited? Why can't I see these two factions I need? I see Red Veil where I'm currently leveling but I don't see none of that ostron and solaris stuff. And I need to get those, play missions like a maniac just so I can reach the edge of my left sanity and farm Kappa for probably a week if rng wants to F up my arse just to lose my sanity in the f*ing crafting time?

First, welcome back to the game! Yes, there's a lot of new content to explore and many things to see, so take your time to check out everything. Regarding the factions you mentioned, the Ostron are the Cetus faction on Earth, while the Solaris are the faction in Fortuna on Venus. Their representatives can be found in the main hubs of Cetus or Fortuna. You can do bounties to gain standing, but you can also turn in fish and gems from their respective open-world areas for standing. I hope that clarifies things a bit. As for Gauss, he now has a Prime version, which might be a bit easier to farm currently. Since it's a Prime frame, you can also trade for it. Additionally, if you didn't know, you can craft as many things as you want simultaneously, just not multiples of the same item. It's a good idea to have lots of different things cooking in the Foundry while you farm for new items and level the old ones. This way, there's a kind of rotation to it, so you never run out of things to do, and the crafting time doesn't really matter. Otherwise, you might end up with dozens of weapons and frames to level at the same time if you have the slots for them. I hope this helps with your questions a bit. Welcome to the game! To answer your question, yes, Platinum (plat) is usually used to buy the final product. Purchasing a frame with Platinum will give you the frame fully crafted, along with a catalyst and a Frame slot on top.

@@spauyy And if you continue to go at the rounds you will end up with enemies at level 9999 which is the lvl cap for enemies. For the diffrence between Sp and normal enemies, on Sp enemies have a increased HP, Shield and Armor of 150% up to 250% so they are harder to kill yes. That means a lvl 500 sp enemy will have around 150% to 250% more hp, armor and shield than you Normal lvl 500 enemey would ^^

Does sp affect the drop rate of Gauss parts?? I dont think so, just want to confirm once What i mean to ask is, lets say Gauss Systems has 2.5% drop rate in normal mode, will it become 5% in sp or is it still 2.5% in sp too?

From my knowledge, the SP bonus does not affect mission rewards like the Gauss parts and so on as they are rotation/Round rewards, however it does affect the drop rate chance and the drop rate of what enemies drop in the mission. I could be wrong here but havent heard anything bout that.. I did mine on Normal since it's overall faster. Depending on how broken your build is, you could go SP, but overall, I think Normal is the way to go here.

In the mission I showcased, Is the only way to obtain Gauss blueprints (System, Neuropics and chassis). other than buying him for plat in the marke. However, for the crafting resources thats needed (which I meant as chassis/system parts), you have to obtain them from the open world areas.@@jj-bx1pl

Hey, welcome to the game! To answer your question, it really depends on the player and time. Gauss is not the hardest frame to get but does require some grinding with the open-world factions (Cetus & Fortuna). So, I definitely recommend getting your daily Reputation gained on those factions if you're working towards Gauss. Also, for a Necramech, which is something you will need later, so don't skip out on grinding a little reputation for those factions (with mining or bounties early on). A tip: don't rush too much, the game is a marathon with tons of gameplay, different mechanics, and stuff to explore. Learn the game at your own pace, which you'll enjoy. Get your Taxon Pet crafted (after Venus Junction) as fast as possible and put on the mod "vacuum," it's gonna help with loot pickups and quality of life, just get it. I've got a video here of some of the things I would have loved to learn as a newer player, which you could check out. Open world factions are plains of eildon on earth which can also be accessed through fetus orb vallis on Venus which can also be accessed through fortuna and cambrion drift on deimos which can also be accessed through nekralisk As for mods go into your arsenal and click upgrade on what you want to mod. Mods are extremely vital and may be one of if not the most important aspect

You can't pick Gauss as a starter frame, but you can choose a frame called Volt, which is also focused on speed. Volt has an ability that boosts movement speed for you and anyone nearby, so maybe that would be the right choice for you. ^^

​@@Cheeseisawsomesauce To get to the mission shouldn't take too long, but it still requires some time grinding through the Star Chart. Once you get the mission, you're still restricted by the Cetus Faction and Fortuna Faction as they will need to be leveled up a bit, and reputation is limited per day. However, if you start playing and work on the reputation while progressing towards the mission, you could probably obtain him within your first two weeks, at least, maybe even faster. But then again, it depends on the player and their knowledge somewhat. There's also the option of going for Gauss Prime, which you could farm relatively quickly. You have starter platinum at 50, and if you earn 14 more, you'll be sitting at 64 platinum, which is the current cost to buy Gauss Prime. Primes are technically better by a small margin. No, sadly most factions cap at the limit. Some factions allow certain turn-ins to go over the daily limit, but not these.

What’s a C rotation?

In Warframe, loot has a rotation system, typically A-A-B-C in endless missions. But Disruption missions are different as here you will be defending glowing "Conduits" which unlocks rotations. One Conduit gets Rotation A, two get B, and three or four (depending on the round) to get the Rotation C, which has a chance to drop Gauss parts. Remember, the difficulty increases with each round. So in short the x rotation is just the loot that can drop so for farming Gauss you have to get a C rotation reward to have a chance for a blueprint part for Gauss. Hope this clears it up a bit ^^

So to mine in Warframe you first have to buy a mining tool which can be bought from smokefinger in fortuna, it can be bought in both Cetus and necralisk too but I recommend the fortuna one. Once you have your mining tool you just equip it into your gear wheel in the arsenal and use it in the open world on veins.

For the Cetus faction, you can either do bounties, mining, and sell the resources for reputation. There's also fishing and hunting, which take place in the Plains of Eidolon. For Fortuna, it's basically the same, but just in their open-world zone, Orb Vallis. Theres a few diffrent ways of getting Rep for those factions so just find the one you like and go with that...

Yeah, I get that. It can feel overwhelming with some tasks for just one Warframe. It's definitely a deep game, and some frames require some pre-work like building reputation with factions. But Warframe is a grindy game, so it's not everyone's cup of tea. Don't let that scare you, though. There are plenty of frames that are way easier to obtain, and some that are harder. So just enjoy the ride! You don't "need" Gauss; any frame can be used to clear high-level missions and reach "Endgame."
