A cadeira do elevador não estava em manutenção, era uma cadeira que esteve inoperável há mais de 10 anos e portanto não possuía o 2º item de segurança, que era a fivela com o mosquetão que era prendido ao colete. Existe uma chave hidráulica atrás de cada cadeira, quem fez a vistoria técnica, esqueceu de travar, fazendo com que a trava (colete) fosse facilmente levantada. Obs.: a cadeira não tinha nenhum problema, o que de fato ocasionou na desativação da mesma era porque quando foram instalar a estrutura de ferro que faz alusão à torre Eiffel foi feito um mal cálculo, possibilitando que uma pessoa de mais de 1.80 pudesse bater a cabeça ou a perna na estrutura. Obs. 2: os gestores, presidente do parque sabia disso, porém nunca colocaram nenhuma placa ou algo do tipo, pois a chave atrás da cadeira impedia que a utilizassem. Obs. 3: os funcionários não sabiam disso, mas mesmo com a fivela faltando, sendo essencial pra impedir que o colete levantasse, deixou a menina utiliza-la. A mãe da menina, inclusive falou em entrevistas que perguntou várias vezes ao funcionário se era seguro, e todos garantiram que era. Obs.4: ninguém foi preso
