EA missed an opportunity with the Cale Makar xfactor. They should have allowed preorder purchaser’s to either use his 86 base OR the 85 preorder card for the upgrade tier for his xfactor. That would have been a nice touch and would have allowed the people who spent more on the game, to save a bit. They didn’t dole out an xfactor card for those people. They could have at least allowed that.

I'm new to the game and i wish you'd make a video about the mechanics. How to better protect the puck, how to poke effectively how to check etc. But especially how to have fluid movements. My player always seems to lose momentum. Theres no real tips and tricks and explanation of the mechanics in the game or out there

You have to use the right stick moving it left and right. Highly recommend going into Free Skate mode and just playing around with the skating while using the right stick

@@SamStaticc yeah i do it but its not super effective. I know the controls i'm winnibg most of my games in rivals, i went from playing semi pri to playin allstar in a week. I eant the deep stuff hehe

Interesting watch, I am new to online and am not good at, simply due to inexperience. This is a division one game and seems legitimate, no running around, and actually both you and the opponent are looking for plays to develop. This compared to D6 - D5 is night and day and I wish opponents played with some sense of hockey. I was surprised at how much hack hockey was being played. It is like youth hockey where the entire team is chasing the puck wherever it goes. So it looks like the higher the division, the better the overall gameplay and experience. Looks like I need to fight my way out of the pits of misery. Key takeaways, don't get pissed and start running around in frustration, play calm, don't rush plays. First I need to figure out medieval hockey in the depths of the slums lol.

Are there any auto aim poke checks this year? Like last year you could hit triangle while hitting L1, or pressing down on R3 would help with the defensive stick? I seem to be getting poke checked very quickly while I'm not able to do the same to my opponent

So i just played a squad battles game where my 11-0 win counted as an 0-3 loss. Didnt count the game as played and counted nothing towards my challenges. Any tips for that? 😂

As you know I play a lot of hut for many years but it's harder for me to enjoy this game more and more as the year goes on unfortunately... I'm 48-20 atm and it's not "fun" for me anymore. Either smashing opponents or facing gren and you and getting licked. 😂 the MMR needs to go off MMOs like WoWs pvp or even guild wars MMR arena system. I shouldn't be facing div 5s 1 game than div 2 or 1 the next.... just my 2 cents

D1 not hard to get to lol, and strats you need to set to your style, you could have w.e. strat but if you don't understand it means nothing

why is my AI taking endless penalties, they took 4 in my last game. It's a really RNG game this year, it's sort of feels liek no skill is required to play this game anymore.

Turn the don’t block/block all the way down to 0 on your offense strategies, that helped me
