Finding a gun isn't the issue. Heck, even finding the ammo isn't that big of an issue either. Find the right Magazine to fit the gun you have, that can be hard. One sure fire way is to hit the WW2 bunkers for a 1911 to get you started. Magazines are plentiful in the bunkers. You can make an improvised tool box and then dismantle one of the guns and use its parts to repair another until you have a fully repaired .45 1911 Colt.

Mind you, with some weapons you can spend days trying to find ammo for them! Still, a very nice video, especially good for noobs to the game.

Absolutely, finding the right ammo and mags is actually the hard part, but for those who don't know, you can single load rounds if you have no ammo, not the best but might save your life!

most common guns is 1911 and 1887 using shotgun shells, which can be found at harbors with towns. just not every time ammo. do you have map for the best guns locations?

Devs wanted the game to be boring and time consuming so they fucked up the loot spawns. You dont need the weapons because the zombies are also very rare. Did you find any animals yet? You actually have a higher chance of meeting a player I believe. That is if you don't get sick of the game after 20 hours trying to find any of the afforementioned.

@@SynderNOfficial my problem with SCUM is that everyone KOS even someone new, players only want fame, and its ruining the game sortha. this is what DAYZ don't lack sometimes and is the only difference id see between the two games. and then theres no communication in SCUM even tho its there invented into the game, unless you have friends or squad, but thats it.

You will find ammo in the same places, but i find that bunkers are the best place for ammo. Most guarded POIs are also great. You can also craft your own ammo from drill presses or the new improvised toolbench!

When you left the place for hour you can loot the same place again. Also have another trick, just exit the game and reopen it you can loot again

No you can't sleep, but if you don't find nvgs you can use flashlights, torches, work lights, lighters I believe, oil lamps and so on to get some light. Also if that's something you don't mind, you can do #settime 12:00 in chat to change the time of day. Takes away from the challenge, but hey, it's a game, the point is to have fun right!?

you loose everything you have on you, then you can either spawn at a random location, spawn in a sector of your choosing or spawn at your base( depending on how many fame points you have)

i just started playing and found a gun in a tank that had a green flare blowing smoke i waited went in side and i had less then a min to get what i wanted i died.went to a dock and taught there would be loot and these fing robots killed me.all i do now is make stone knifes and die trying to kill zombies

So each police station has the gun lockers right? Cause every time I go to one they are always locked and even with a lock pick I can’t unlock them. Doesn’t even give me the option. Any advice? Is the Bobby pin/safety pin lock pick not the right kind? Is there a legit lock pick? I’m stuck lol can’t find answers anywhere
