Hi! No personality doesn't matter at all, they ammount a mii likes another mii seems to be mostly random if anything. And yes they HAVE to be friends, unless another mii sets them up on a date but that's its own interaction.

any mii can date any mii of opposite gender but what makes a really good relationship is birthday matchups. i have 2 miis delilah and wayne who ended up being at 100% compatibility and they are soulmates and have a baby. i call the ship name delilayne :3

Oh! A save editor is a program designed to manually edit anything within a specific game's save file! It's a form of hacking that's similar to a cheat code or infinite money glitch. To use one designed for a 3ds you need to hack your 3ds and then extract your save data from the cartridge you want to edit.

Its the same! You just take the save data from inside citra and load it into the save editor. You can't reroll with citra though, some sort of built in auto save.

It can probably be fixed! I just need to know a bit more. Has his game been modded/hacked in any way? If so what has been done to it? Do you have any idea when the crashes started? Did it start after a certain point in the game or after a mod was added or was it random? Is it an emulated version of the game being played on a console that isnt a 3ds? I'll try and fix it if I can!

When setting friends in the save editor, does setting a mii to be friends with itself corrupt a file (i accidentally corrupted by file (i had a backup so it was fine) and was wondering if that couldve been the reason why)

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but I'll try to explain. Rerolling randomizes the mii's needs so you might get a heart after the first reroll, or it might take a bit. After you save the game rerolling obviously wont work. There's no set time for when it will work again because it depends on the miis having new problems. I'd wait an hour minimum so things might visibly change, but waiting a whole day will change almost all of the mii's needs.

what i did back when i played once i put a female mii with a boy hair cut in non gender outfits

I managed to figure out a way that is vanilla-ish, it does not work the same but it will give good results: so I started a new island with only 42 miis, I made them all have the adventurer personality (Europe version it probably says something else on your port) Next, I waited it out, everyone started asking others to become friends. the longer you stay on the game the greater the chances they ask out someone to become friends with them, you can also try the "re-rolling" glitch by re-loading your save file if you are too tired from waiting and nothing happens. Keep these notes in mind: - Give everyone the same exact gift, no this will not increase or decrease their like factor HOWEVER. if you give them OP items like a Wii u, a 3ds, cat / dog and a radio they will invite their friends as soon as they level up. this is great because these items make your miis friendships strengthen as the miis need to hang out a lot. you playing the game daily will also help. - if a mii is friends with two or more miis and they ask if they can introduce their friend to another, say yes. - I noticed a significant improvement when I started implementing the gift everyone a Wii u, because without it my miis cannot hold a single relationship no matter how long I stayed on the game.
