Tomodachi Life is an infamous 3DS social simulation game. People beg for it to come to Switch, but I've never played it. Let's create some Miis and see what Tomodachi Life is all about.

I agree with the sentiment, but as someone who's been actively keeping up with Tomodachi modding over the years, getting gay marriage to work like default is actually extremely difficult due to how the inner workings of TL work and hasn't been quite cracked even now in 2024. If it was so "easy" to implement, a widely accessable mod for it would surely exist by now? Sadly, that's just not true... trust me, I hope the day will come someday!! I'll be one of the first to download it, but not everything can be that simple... sorry! T^T

One of the things in tomodatchi life I think is so funny, when someone is confessing their love, other miis can ruin the moment and say that they love them more, so then the mii has to choose what mii to date

so the first person you make on the island is usually yourself. the second person you make, the game tends to make your first person and that second person end up together. its not always 100% but most of the time they will get together. makes sense why you and joe got together LMAO

I do not know about posting that. I think that's the reason Dante did not get accepted into Super Smash Bros., because people kept posting that Dante is not wanted, he is needed in, so a costume of him was in instead of the real Dante character. I read Waluigi was not accepted into Super Smash Bros., because people sent death threats to add Waluigi in. About people sending death threats to add Waluigi in, I never saw any sign of it, but I did read people have posted about seeing that stuff. I think I did see signs of posts that Dante is not wanted, he is needed. If there's anything that came out, even though people said that it was needed, you can tell me. Even I would want a Tomodachi Life sequel to be made, but I'm not going to say that it's needed, because I'm afraid it's going to change their plans, and then they cancel the sequel.

@@bennel3588 The big difference between Dante and Tomodachi Life is that it is a 1st Party Game that Nintendo is in full control of, and not a 3rd party IP with copyright contracts and licenses attached to it. Tomodachi Life has been in demand since 2017 because the game is dumb fun and entertaining. It's not like Nintendo doest know this Game is successful either since it's hit their "Nintendo Selects" lineup on the 3DS. It's also not like this game is already complex for a 2023 release Nintendo game. All they need to do is just add a lot onto of the original foundation to make this game more engaging and fun than the original. If you've seen any of the concept videos online, there is a lot of potential with a Sequel. There is no reason for Nintendo to just forgot about this game.

@@Vista0279 I do not know if anyone would know the answer to that question. There could be people posting rumors just as a lie or they think they know the answer. If you're wondering the name of the sequels, I did see different results. I saw Tomodachi Life 2 and Tomodachi World, but those might be fan-made names, but I could be wrong. I saw someone making New Day, and it was a Tomodachi Life X the Sims experience. Someone was hoping that Nintendo would sue them. I was hoping the company got together with Nintendo, and then made it be Tomodachi Life: New Day, and even the characters would get replaced by miis, but the company that made New Day already made a demo of it, and are releasing it on Steam, so there's no going back on it. The creator told me that he's not doing copyright infringement. If he's using Tomodachi Life and the Sims, I kind of do consider that copyright infringement, but there might be some difference. The characters in there are not miis. Someone posted that New Day has probably caused Tomodachi Life sequel to get cancelled, because it's a big success, and even seems like a replacement for Tomodachi Life. I still hope a Tomodachi Life sequel gets made. I do not plan on playing New Day, because it's probably doing copyright infringement, and I still enjoy the miis more than the characters in that game.

Tomadachi Life is honestly in my top 3 DS games. It’s literally so fun to play with celebrities and people that you know irl. I put my best friend in and she wanted me to make Ross Lynch so they could date but then her mii ended up getting married to and having a baby with Steve Harvey and Ross Lynch ended up dating my sister-in-law instead. I read that if you give the miis the same gift, they are more likely to go out. I wish I found that out earlier. The miis I put down as my parents did not go out. My dad mii went out with Madonna, so I changed the relation for them, setting Madonna as Parent, and the woman I set up as Parent before, I set her up as Other Relative. The mii that used to be my mom mii did go out with Jackie Chan, but then broke up with him. When I checked my dad mii, I think I read "Not getting along" or "Getting along OK" for Madonna. If they break up, I probably should select "Move on," and then work on getting the other female mii to go out with him. The mii that used to be set up as my mom, she did have a look similar to what my sister mii used to look like, except that she had wrinkles and gray hair, and I was thinking about giving my sister mii a cuter look, so I changed her hairstyle to what I thought looked cuter, and I did add another brother and sister to the family. I made an old woman mii look like my new sister mii, except that she has wrinkles and gray hair. My dad mii looks like my main mii, except that he has wrinkles and gray hair. Does anyone miis the old way my sister mii looks like? Maybe, so I made another mii that seems similar to the old way she looks, but I think the hair color is different. She is the daughter of the old mii I set as Other Relative. I added in a son and father that almost look the same, except the dad has wrinkles and gray hair, but the son has no wrinkles and green hair. The dad for the family came in at the time I added in a mother to my main family mii. The other relative mother mii is now going out with someone I did not make for her. Sometimes, the relationship is not like we planned.

I found that I didn't use the online features much, and I played originally during the Streetpass's hayday. I would go to cons and get dozens of Miis, but I was still able to enjoy Tomodachi Life without them. The most exciting thing is when your child decides they want to travel to different islands.

First of all, as a fellow Tomodachi Life girlie, 10/10 video this was so fun! And secondly, if you enjoyed that Tomodachi Quest minigame, you might like playing Miitopia. The Switch version has really amazing Mii customisation with wigs and blush and stuff, and it’s a really cute, quirky RPG adventure. Albeit a bit of a long game.

I played an ungodly amount of tomodachi life. The drama you can get going is so funny. Especially when you create miis of friends AND famous people/characters. Whats also super funny is when two weird looking miis get a baby. I played like 1200h of tomodachi life.... One time i even based my oc lore on the happenings of tomodachi life

Thank you for making this video 🩷 It's very fun and talks about all the fun aspects of the game and what makes it entertaining and goofy (even if it gets repetitive after a while especially if you've not mare many miis) but it has such GOOD moments out of nowhere, it is both goofy but has its more serious moments sometimes. It really adds to the life atmosphere. I love all of it. I hope if there's a new one, they'll let us watch the Miis walk around the island from the main view, so you can hear the peaceful night music while watching them walk around, lights go on and off and them exiting and entering buildings sometimes.

I used to make miis that looked like Aliens, fish people, (I got the idea of Cyclops from another Tomodachi Life channel) then I made up a few "regular" Miis, because I wanted to see what their kids would look like, then I started adding fantasy characters and historical figures into the mix. My proudest moment was when Vlad the Impaler and Tinkerbell got married, and had a kid named Zoey Dracula. My Mii married a fish woman and had a fish human hybrid thingy named Scott whose out traveling the world. The game is fun but it's flaws start to show after awhile, I pretty much don't play games with them anymore because I dread some of the minigames, they could've made better miningames instead of "guess the thingy". The game gets more fun if you jailbreak your 3DS and install an app to remove the profanity filter.

miitopia’s switch version is so good !! the 3ds version is already pretty great but the customization, new cutscenes, HORSE and everything really is THE way to play miitopia. I am really hopeful for a tomo/miitopia 2 in the future!

I think the impact that this game had on people is severely understated whenever this game is brought up. This game has crafted a giant chunk of my humor and personality, as well as fueling a lot of my creative endeavors, like OCs and Stories, and even how I talk normally. I'd say that this game makes a THIRD of my core.
