It's hard to get into a Rag House but it's very easy to get kicked out from what I heard talking to guys who've gone to Rag Houses. Apparently more established resellers with deeper pockets can and will try to run you out of that Rag House by either making an agreement with the owners to make them exclusive or the Rag House owners will increase their prices by saying "Oh you need to spend $10,000 this week" which is just unachievable for some of these grassroots resellers

What kind of names do these rag houses have and do you know any that are in NY or around NY?
@LootFam3 ай бұрын
Names vary pretty wildly. Many of the companies aren’t trying to be public. The non profit ones are often under “sheltered workshop” because thats what the law is written with.

Hey man how can I contact you direct? I have something you gotta see p.s. regarding the life cycle of clothes and rag houses, have you ever read the book Secondhand: Travels in the global garage sale, by Adam Minter? It covers all that stuff - great read.
