Inject this podcast in my veins! I’m balling on a budget right now. I really needed this podcast episode. I’m hurting a little bit after getting laid off a last month and I’m penny pinching a bit and saving $ on groceries really helps. Once I build back up an emergency fund I’m going to buy Maps Extreme Intensity Bundle. Really appreciate the podcast guys. I was in a dark place this last month with losing my job but working out while listening to you guys has really kept me on the right path. I can’t thank you guys enough.

I jumped on the GPT hype after MindPump guys mentioned it and I must say I am impressed. I’ve used it for 2 main things: 1. I asked it to write an opening paragraph for a a short story idea I have, and I’m actually going to use it with some editing. 2. For work it helped me write some code to automate an annoying small task. Other things I’ve tried: - it created a workout program for strength training - it broke down how to lose fat and keep muscle - my daughter asked for help in a A Level Chemistry question, which it gave the answer to with a full explanation This is my new best friend 😊

Thank you Justin! I am definitely going to look into that mobility wall. i've never thought of needing foam rolling of any sort but as I train, I feel like it would be so beneficial during my mobility days after the functional workout days. Always enjoy the banter. Don't stop what you're doing. We always need your wise words and humor.

1:14:23 "By the way, a warmup lasts for hours. Meaning if you're done with your warmup you can sit and hang out for 15 minutes before go for your PR." Holy shit what a joy to hear this, it is information so rare to come across. I've always had it in my head that a warmup is only good within a few minutes, at most, before getting into working sets, let alone going for a PR. Maybe I won't go so far as to do it hours before a workout, but I can certainly relax a bit with this 20+ year exercise compulsion of mine. 😅

For the caller for question 1 he needs to look at the demands of the event. The strength in endurance athletes is not really about adding muscle size but resistance to fatigue how much power you can put into the ground pedals etc. On the event. When doing the strength training that needs to be added to training peaks with a tss score say 30 then that contributes to overall ctl level. To keep the training at the correct level for you a tss needs to be added as it is a stress on the body. When you do your training session it is extremely important to fill out the comments on how the training session as that will give your coach a better understanding of how how you felt the session went. Looking at the numbers doesn't show how your day was like in work sleep, nutrion, a stressful day, mindset etc. What areas do you feel you have weakness on that can also be outside of training and try to improve them as well. You are doing the right thing having a coach as they will often stop you from being your own worst enemy and push you when needed.

I've been really fascinated with AI as well lately , it's really nice for writing things a bit faster. Leveraging things like chatgpt but also using something like quilbot to help with rephasing/paraphrasing. I personally don't think it should be used to do the whole job but it can be an amazing tool for research , and should be combined with proper overlooking. A lot of people will definitely use it and not go over "their" work which can be a downfall for many people in terms of plagiarism and not fact checking.

Can anyone share their experience with results while on maps anabolic? I brought the bundle and I'm not expecting to get results right away but was just wondering how long everyone else took to see results. After the first week I def feel stronger already and I'm excited to get through the program. I'm just wondering if results start to come by the end of this or if I'll start to see them by maps performance/asthetic

I work in custom luxury home’s construction and I tell you what there’s a lot of young bucks out here that don’t know how to do like simple, I feel like are simple basic skills, things I do everyday without thinking that I don’t realize until I talk to kids my age (24) that are at loss for what I’m talking about😂 So I feel like once we get personal AIs it’s going to be worse! For example I know how to square off a corner or footing without actually using a square or level

Oh man, bulking should not have to be expensive. Here in Norway, a very expensive country, I keep an eye out every week for whatever is on sale and live on that. Always look at the price per kilo/pound and compare to others, if it's natural whole food, you don't need to buy the expensive option, everything is practically grass fed anyway. Expensive eggs are just bigger, costs way more per kilo. I get a lot of lean 5% ground beef, whole chicken, pork chops, eggs, big bags of dried foods like rice, oats, lentils, beans and chick peas, veggies like potatoes, carrots, peppers, mushrooms, frozen vegetables, apples, bananas, kiwi fruit, whatever I want. Keep protein powder on hand, make some shakes with milk, peanut butter, whatever you want, and finish with the occasional junk food on top, there's always something on sale. Spend money where it counts, like a genuine and delicious Italian olive oil, fresh fish and some avocados.
