I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but I unlocked Sonic instead. I must've gotten the instructions confused, but it's cool. Sonic has some pretty rad abilities, like the spindash which you can use to knock Bowser into the bombs instead of grabbing his tail. Saves a lot of time during speedruns.

Easy: get a Nintendo DS and a copy of Super Mario 64 DS instead, play until you unlock Big Boo's haunt, then get to the Luigi painting at the top floor of the mansion, play through the sublevel, kill King Boo, pick up his L key, and head to the room with Princess Peach's Slide, and open the door with an L above it. I wish Nintendo made L is Real in Mario 64 switch or in Mario Odyssey, I wish they did it where the whole castle was available and you could go do the L Is Real fountain thing in Odyssey although they would have to knock it to about 204 times because that would be insane or 201 or just jump in the fountain 201 times but to have an L is Real would be wild. Or you jump in the fountain 201 times walk outside then come back inside and then a pipe is in the fountain and then you jump in the pipe and N64 Luigi comes out and you become N64 Luigi and unlock the costume with new audio and everything
