I also think it helps if you stay in your “cast” as long as possible. I tend to do my hair in the evening and let it stay casted until the next day and then break up the cast with argon oil.

Same. Since I live in Miami and the humidity and heat is real I actually never break my cast and let it gradually soften on its own 😊 usually it happens by day 4 dependent on which gel I use.

For low porosity wavy hair, i recommend theit curl whip mousse! It's so good and doesnt weigh down my hair

I just want to thank you for this video. I ordered the Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly travel kit with the shampoo, conditioner, and gel. I love it, and just ordered the full size products. I tried the gel with a different shampoo and conditioner I already had, and the results weren’t near as good as using all three products. Great product suggestion!

I was finally able to splurge and get that blow dryer with their 40% BF sale and used it this morning with their wave spray and styling souffle and bounce mousse and NO frizz!! Have a bonnet I'll sleep with and hoping it still looks good tomorrow! Had a great cast! I also ordered the core strength shampoo, and wave kit to try. So excited! Have you tried washing your body after rinsing out your conditioner to wash it off? Then when styling, wrap your hair towel around your shoulders so it doesn't touch your skin while wet.

I shower separate to washing my hair, I'll just bend over the sink or tub. I also put on a face mask while I wash my hair to help prevent acne, plus the steam opens up your pores for the mask to get into my skin!

You can do that if you like how your hair looks with no stylers! Most of us that have frizz want to tame frizz and enhance definition and prefer that look. Products can also help condition and protect the hair from drying out quickly after wash day
