Every week there has been like 2 days where I get significantly more likes and sales than other days. I thought it must just be my imagination, but you described it perfectly with the rolling sales thing. March was my worst month in a while, and I totally blame whatever they're doing behind the scenes. Nothing else has changed--still posting at the same rate and everything!

I hope it gets figured out soon. Whatever the issue or issues (because thereseems to be multiple). You don't break something that's not broken. They broke the system with the first glitch. I relist and or list everyday. And I share my entire closet multiple times a day. My sales tanked and have stayed that way. Me spending my time rewording the titles is time lost. I personally have started cross listing on 2 other platforms and will probably get rid of Poshmark all together. I lost my faith in their system as I worked very hard to build my business and they had way too much control. So the eggs are being spread out now over multiple platforms. Lol (so to speak) Idk. I just lost all respect for them at this point 😟

Over $400.00 sale day Sunday, $70.00 sale day Monday, today’s Tuesday @ noon & already had $157.00 so far in sales. This is every single day, for weeks (honestly the last two months) I’ve noticed rolling sales in every other day timeline constantly. Its obvious with the new sales insights page. I showed my boyfriend, who doesn’t know anything about posh & he said it has to be their algorithm. I haven’t re-listed anything in over a year so y’all motivated me to bite the bullet.

I did an experiment by just titling my item "White Sneakers". It looks like they're holding that search title for any listing with just that title for rows 3,7, 11,15,19... On the app for items that haven't been shared recently. So if you can narrow down your titles on items you think people might do a generic search for it could increase sales.

The problem for me is I cross list... and get alot of my sales from "guest buyers" so my SEO is working but now its not going to on PM.... 🤔Maybe I'll try making a simpler "title" in description and see if that helps. But I can't in good conscience just put "nike sneakers" lol

Oh for sure this would NOT be for all listings and should not be for crosslisting. This would work best for trendy items or items most likely to sell on Posh. From what I can tell title will trump description but would be interested to hear if that has an impact!

I use the copy feature if its older than 60 days. Otherwise it needs a whole new listing.

If your item is more than 60 days old you can use the copy feature on poshmark. Just make sure to take the word copy out of the title. If its less than 60 days old you can use a crosslisting platform like Vendoo or manually relist by reuploading your photos into a new listing and copy and pasting the item details.

If you are using the copy feature then yes it needs to be more than 60 days old. I have also been manually relisting items to increase the boost I am getting so I dont need to wait those 60 days.

I get alot of guest buyers, and I've tested searching my items on Google and they show up. So PM has been pushing detailed descriptions and most try to make sure our listing are SEO. So what happens if we basically "dumbing" down our titles for PM? Are people still going to be able to find our stuff when searching on Google? What about crosslisting..won't this also affect our SEO on eBay as well?

So first of all for cross listing I definitely do not suggest simplifying your title. When I crosslist I change my title for the other platforms. As for google SEO it may be beneficial for you to do duplicate listings, one for the google shopper and one for the poshmark shopper. Currently I am duplicating listings I think are most likely to sell on Posh but I am not doing ALL since I have so many.

@@spendingunder30 wow that so much added work when PM should have just left it the way it was, the consensus is that so many people have gotten major declines in sales. Not so much me since I sell PT and don't list daily. I'm going to be looking into their quarterly earnings that are available since they are now public and see how it compares next quarter since they say this is supposed to promote more sales. So frustrating because I mostly sell on PM and only crosslist very select items. We shall see. Thanks for the info in your video, appreciate all the I fo you both shared!!

Poshmark says sharing still matters and they say they are still refining things so I would keep sharing. I also think its important to show buyers we are active.

Also I had a duplicate listing last night after using copy feature and I did erase original one before seeing it so I went to my closet andow and behold there was only 1 listed so I searched again and there was still 2 showing in search. So I got on my husband's account and clicked like on both of them and on my account I only got one new like.

I did just try it to confirm (this video was made March 20 so possible things have changed) but it did still happen. Make sure your size filter is off when you do the search.

@@fatmesleiman286 would be hard to say without fully testing that. All we can say for sure is the third row seems to be sticking items that most exactly match your search terms. I dont think a * would help that since search engines cannot read characters like that but without testing it I cant say for sure.

I am absolutely interested in joining the experiment. Do you use a service to delist and relist? What I have noticed over last 2 months too is using Vendoo to do this seems to halt my sales. I experimented with re wording my title on one dress during your show and when I used Aqua (brand name) Dress And all my other key words an SEO title I was in row 5 on cell over and over. I changed it to Pink Dress and put Aqua as last word. I then searched again for just aqua dress and I was on row 3. I did use the same search words all times just Aqua Dress. I am going to start changing titles tomorrow.

They switched it back and then switched it back unfortunately. They confirmed it after many were complaining on a blog post. I am hoping they continue to refine it but for right now this is the best way we have found to get more eyes on listings.

My OCD can't handle the idea of these basic titles, LOL. I did, however, add the "basic version" of my title at the bottom of my listing. For example, the official title would be "Lulus French Countryside White Floral Print High-Low V-Neck Dress M," but at the bottom, I've typed "Tags: Lulu's, Lulus dress, Lulus floral dress, ..." and so on. We'll see what happens! 🤷‍♀

Id be curious how high they are ranking descriptions compared to titles. From what Ive seen it seems title is key but Im certain there are more factors.

@@meggymegz212 I created new listings but I did not do ALL listings. This is still in testing stage so I wouldnt want to do everything and find out I need to change it plus google shoppers are important for many items. I would focus on items you think are most likely to sell on Posh.

I noticed a couple of days ago that poshmark was giving an incentive to share 3 items of each person who shared your stuff. You had a chance to win a $100. So usually when they do stuff like that it's because they want people to continue doing certain things like listing or or sending offers to lakers and now Bristol likers and now this new 1 sharing 3 items for each person that shared her stuff

@@happy2beesaved yes for sure. Keeping people on the app is extremely important for them so they need users to continue to engage in the social aspect. Not all social aspects they push lead to sales though. Unfortunately often their priority from social over sales does not always benefit the seller.

I've decided to transition to eBay. All this Poshmark nonsense is just.... nonsense. I am working on crosslisting all my items from Posh to eBay before I list anything new, then plan to just list on eBay. With maybe an exception here and there if I feel it makes sense to list a particular item on Posh. But I'm so done with all this crap!

I was thinking of making the switch and list all of my posh items on eBay. I mostly sell hard goods on eBay but 8/10 after a sale I get the most ridiculous return requests mostly asking for partial refunds. After a simple google search I learned that apparently this is a thing and eBay mostly sides with the buyer no matter what! I’ve never had any serious issues on poshmark and have always felt that poshmark was fair when it came to returns. But that’s the only thing I’m hesitant about ebay. If this keeps happening I really can’t see myself putting all my eggs on eBay.

@@desidoll993 I have it set so it tells them I don’t accept returns. They can still try to return and I’ve heard that eBay still lets them sometimes, but It hasn’t been an issue for me yet.
