I lost 50 lbs. over the last 5-10 years and had to buy a whole new wardrobe. I have Granny Arms, too. But I live on a hot climate and sleeveless clothes for summer are essential. I had them before weight loss, it’s from the collagen loss of aging. I’m trying to not be self-conscious about them, after all, I can’t help being 64. Men don’t apologize for looking their age, so why should we?

Liz, you might try 2-inch block heel shoes, they’re very comfortable and stable. I love Sezane’s Paula Babies. I have very problematic feet and 2-inch block heels are the only “heels” I can wear. I’m 64 and for the first time in my life, such low-to-mid heels are finally widely available. I hope this helps🙂

Hi Julie, they are 95% viscose 5% elastane. They are called Elisa jersey top from Danish brand Masai. You can get some Masai pieces in Nordstrom so might be worth checking there 👍

I saw a video by a very well known stylist the other day who said round necks and bigger busts is a myth. Those long pendants just look old fashioned and frumpy.

I loved the outfits Maria created for me and her accessory suggestions they were all so inspirational and just the boast I needed. I don’t think I would class myself or Maria as old fashioned or frumpy. We both have very different styles but Maria, unlike many well known stylists doesn’t try to impose her style on you. It’s about being an individual and I guess it’s down to personal choice in the end.

As a personal stylist I keep my finger on the pulse of the trends analysing the runway shows each season so I can advise my clients how to refresh their wardrobe. They were full of longer necklaces pendants and statement jewellery for spring summer so I’m ahead of the high street with my styling!
