What has your experience been as a black person there? Is there a big black culture there or a lot of racism? We are considering moving from the US, but I live in a very white state in the US and I don’t want to move to another place with lack of diversity and overt racism.

Overall,NZ is nice for family life and should be one of the best in the world in my opinion. It is also a multinational community and against racism. If you feel bullied or racially abused you can stand up for yourself, reach out to the authorities and get the attention you deserve.
