in the current meta it's not that strong so it's better to nitro more. in fact i think you should turn it off so you can instant boost less. Instant boost boost is used more often when you have no nitro like at the start of a race. It's good to learn the manual timing in the long run, however, because they may tweak the physics so it's more viable.

i use a technique called cut charging to chain together longer drifts. thats the name given by KR Rush+

i've done it a few different ways you can check out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4eapWuNmb-WqM0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHPJmmZjecaooc0 license mode forces you to use a common kart where drifting is hard to use efficiently. it's more important to drive an efficient line than drifting/boosting nonstop. in the "easiest" way i'm close to the wall most of the time and on turns i approach from the outside then drive into the corner. when you do drift you should preturn like how I explained in the video and tap drift lightly. You can see how I do it in the mobile video on the first turn. on the final straight, save your last nitro for right when you land in the water

Hi, I can't seem to fill the Nitro gauge up to 100% using short+full. Only goes up to around 80-90%. Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong?

tension affects all drifts, including the the short drift in short-full. try to build around 15% bar with short, similar to 2:36. use the countersteer input to prevent slipping into a full drift

I spent over an hour in time trials trying to get it down but Its just too hard. Its so depressing, lol. Its sad because I've been a huge fan of KR since 2008 when It was first officially playable in the US and I've never had success at anything beyond the beginner skill level. 😵

I'd say to just keep at it. Kartriders one of those games where I find it's best not to stress over where your at right now and just naturally improve as you play since it's a tough game to learn. It's important to remember the top level of players has been with this series for a long time, thus they've had more time to build consistency.
