Yeah, this recently changed and you need to wait to be accepted. Now you can only call to remove your application and then you would have to restart your application in another area.

I've been on the waitlist since January 2022. I've pretty much given up. I hadn't got an email since May so I signed in today to check and it looks like it's taken me off the waitlist and made me start all over. It says I'm waiting on insurance verification again.

You should do a video on these people who sign up their spouse and run 2 phones, telling the Walmart OGP employees to load their car with a 2 order batch while they're inside on a shop and deliver on the spouses account. I'd love to see DDI or walmart can them.

Wow, I should’ve watched this before I signed up. I did mine in Tracy and I’m assuming that they have a really long waitlist because my applications basically done at the very bottom is the screening still haven’t heard from them and they said that the contact me every week with an update, but I highly doubt someone just gonna fall off the list so I really don’t even know what to do

I just signed up for Spark in my small town and I just found your videos and I like the information but wish I had known ahead of time to apply for a town that is hiring. I'm not a slow person but could I maybe suggest you slowing it down a bit and maybe explaining in a for example on some things you talk about? Not even gotten approved yet I'm going to watch your other videos but you gotta slow down the really fast explanations and then moving into the next thing just as fast. Just a suggestion please.

You can slow down the video yourself by clicking on the gear icon (the word "settings" appears if you hover the mouse over it) - then clicking on Playback speed. Reduce the speed to whatever you can follow along with.

I was told you loose your incentive if you change your zone. My incentive when I first got onto Walmart Sparks was $300.00

I'm not sure if that is the case. The app states that, but I have changed zones and had the same incentive stay with the same progress after changing zone. I'm working on investigating this atm. I've heard from other people that $300 was their incentive too! I think Walmart is sick of paying out that much and is cheeping us. Also, they are starting to reduce the pay on orders. Have you noticed this?

I just done this "switching zone hack" and I ended up with 2 starting spark incentives one for the zone I started in and then another for the zone I switched to ..... I did watch closely and switched the same day I was approved so I would recommend checking ur status every day!!!

Yeah, Walmart is good at changing things that I find to get people signed up. They will probably have more available in a few months. I imagine there was a huge influx of applications and now they have waitlists for every zone.

I'm waiting for them to release more areas and then I'll post an update on KZbin for this. I haven't heard of new zones since the last video. I'd recommend signing up in an area that's not too populated outside of a city so you have a higher chance of getting started soon.

They did change the website. I think there was a huge influx of applications because of this video and they now have waitlists everywhere so they are going to wait to update the website. It used to be every 1-2 months they would update. I'll let you know if I see it get updated.

Yeah. Once you are accepted in the app you can change your zone at will. I just am unsure if you sign up in california, if you can then change out of california- because of the prop 22 stuff. But everywhere else should be fine.

If you already signed up and you are waiting on a waitlist, you can have support change your application zone to another zone that they need drivers in. If you are already accepted to drive, you can change your zone in the app.

If you already applied then you can't do much to change your application. If you want, you can call support at [phone] and have them check on your application. You could always have support delete your application and then you can re-apply, but it's not guaranteed that you would get a better spot on a waitlist if you do that.

I understand you are trying to promote the spark app in order to get the referral incentive. However by helping others cheat the system you are taking away from those of us who work at a zone where the maximum capacity of drivers was reached. I patiently waited to be activated and I believe everyone else should have to wait until the system allows. Otherwise, there isn’t enough orders for everyone to go around. I’m currently in college and this is the only way I can support myself at the moment but I have noticed a big increase in the number of drivers in my zone. Now I struggle to make what’s considered minimum wage for my state 🥺
